Today, I felt a sudden urge to do some tarot reading, so I grabbed my Mind’s Eye Tarot deck. This deck is so pretty, with all its colorful imagery, it really sparks your imagination. I’ve always found that the more you connect with the cards, the better the reading.
Getting Started
First, I cleansed the space around me. I just like to make sure the energy is right, you know? I lit some incense, played some chill music, and just took a few deep breaths to center myself.
- Shuffled the cards while focusing on my intention. Today, I wanted some general guidance on my current path.
- Cut the deck into three piles and then restacked them, feeling the weight of the cards in my hands.
- Fanned out the cards face down on my table. The backs of these cards are just as beautiful as the fronts, all swirly and cosmic-looking.
The Reading
I drew three cards, a classic past, present, future spread. It’s simple but effective.
For the past, I got the Queen of Cups. This card is all about intuition and emotional maturity. Makes sense, I’ve been doing a lot of self-reflection lately, trying to understand my feelings better.
The present card was the Six of Pentacles. This one is about generosity, giving and receiving. It reminded me to stay open to both helping others and accepting help when I need it. A good reminder, life is a two-way street.
And for the future, I pulled the Ace of Wands. Now this card is exciting! It’s about new beginnings, inspiration, and taking action. This really resonated with me because I’ve been feeling this creative energy building up inside me, and I’m ready to start something new, embrace some new adventure in my life!
Reflecting
After the reading, I spent some time journaling about the cards and what they might mean for me. I really tried to let my imagination run wild, just like the deck suggests. It’s amazing what insights you can uncover when you let go of your logical brain and just let your intuition flow, right?
Overall, it was a really positive and insightful reading. I feel like I got some clarity and direction, and I’m feeling inspired to move forward with confidence. I love how the Mind’s Eye Tarot encourages you to trust your inner voice. It’s like having a wise friend right there in the cards. I might have to pick another one later to really feel the magic!
