I’ve always been kinda fascinated by the moon, you know? It’s like this big, mysterious thing in the sky that changes all the time. And recently, I got into tarot cards, mostly just for fun and self-reflection. So, the other day, I had this idea to combine the two and see if I could use the moon’s phases with my tarot readings to figure out when something might happen.
I started by pulling out my favorite tarot deck. I cleared my mind, shuffled the cards, and focused on a specific question I had about a project I’m working on. I was wondering when I might see some real progress. Then, I pulled a single card – The Moon. Ironic, right?
Now, normally, The Moon card is all about intuition, dreams, and sometimes things not being what they seem. But I wanted to see how it could relate to timing. I remembered reading somewhere that the moon’s phases can represent different stages of a cycle, so I thought, why not apply that here?
- New Moon: I figured this could mean a brand-new beginning, the very start of something.
- Waxing Crescent: Maybe this is when things start to pick up, gaining momentum.
- First Quarter: This could be a point of significant action, a time to push forward.
- Waxing Gibbous: Perhaps a period of refinement, getting closer to the goal.
- Full Moon: This felt like the peak, the culmination of efforts.
- Waning Gibbous: Maybe a time to reflect and adjust after the peak.
- Last Quarter: A moment of making some hard decisions.
- Waning Crescent: And finally, this could be a time of letting go, preparing for a new cycle.
Since I pulled The Moon card, I looked at the current moon phase. It was a Waxing Gibbous, just a few days away from being full. Based on my little experiment, I interpreted this as a sign that my project was nearing a major milestone. It felt like things were about to come to a head, and I should be ready to see some significant results soon, maybe in the next few weeks.
My Reflection
It’s still too early to say if my timing prediction will be spot on, but the whole process was really insightful. It made me think about how we can find connections between different things, like tarot and the moon, to gain a new perspective. And even if it doesn’t predict the future perfectly, it helped me feel more in tune with the natural cycles around me. I’m definitely going to keep exploring this method and see where it takes me. Maybe next time I’ll try a full spread instead of just one card! I hope everyone can find their own way to connect their intuition.
