Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this movie idea lately, right? It’s called “movies like tarot,” and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride getting this thing off the ground. I started out with just a basic concept. You know, I’ve been trying to find something similar to that movie “Tarot,” and also I love watching horror movies and something grey, overcast and rainy.
So, I jumped online, started digging through all sorts of movie databases. I found something interesting from a website, it says, “There are 79 films similar to Tarot,” which got me thinking, “Wow, that’s a lot of movies!” Then, another piece I stumbled upon mentioned that “Tarot” is about a bunch of college kids who mess with an old tarot deck and end up cursed. Classic horror setup, right?
Now, I also learned that they filmed “Tarot” in Belgrade, Serbia. That’s pretty cool, gives it a unique vibe. I dove deeper, checking out forums and fan sites. One person was talking about how the movie’s villain, this “Astrologer,” can’t directly control people to cause the deaths. It’s more like, she sets things up, and people’s choices lead them to their doom. Interesting twist, huh?
I started compiling a list of movies that have a similar feel. Someone recommended “Last Night in Soho,” saying it’s got that blend of drama and horror I’m looking for. Another site suggested looking up movies tagged with “tarot cards.” Yeah, I found out a lot of useful things here. So I did, and man, there’s a whole bunch of them out there.
I spent hours, seriously, just watching trailers, reading summaries, and making notes. It’s like I became a detective, but for movies. I realized that what I really enjoy about these kinds of films is that sense of mystery, the suspense, and yeah, the spooky atmosphere.
Finally, I managed to narrow down my list to about ten movies that I think really capture the essence of what I’m going for. It wasn’t easy, but it was definitely worth it. I mean, who knew there were so many films out there that deal with tarot cards, curses, and all that good stuff?
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure in creating “movies like tarot.” It’s been a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. And hey, if anyone’s looking for some creepy, suspenseful movies to watch, hit me up. I’ve got a whole list ready to go!
