So, I got into this whole tarot card thing recently, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I decided to dive deep and get myself a deck of the “Mystic Dreamer Tarot” cards. First off, finding where to buy these things was a mini-adventure in itself.
I started by looking online, thinking it would be easy. I checked out the big online stores, but nothing really caught my eye. Then, I remembered someone mentioning something about supporting local shops. So, I started looking for local places instead.
I found this cool little bookshop downtown that I had never been to before. You know, the kind with that old book smell and shelves packed to the ceiling. They had a small section on spirituality and stuff like that. I browsed around, but no luck with the “Mystic Dreamer” deck.
Next, I hit up a couple of those metaphysical shops. The first one was a bit overwhelming, with all the crystals and incense. I talked to a super nice person working there, but they didn’t have the deck I wanted. They did show me some other decks, but I had my heart set on the “Mystic Dreamer”.
The second metaphysical shop I went to was smaller, but felt more welcoming, you know? I chatted with the owner, a really chill guy who seemed to know his stuff. I mentioned I was looking for the “Mystic Dreamer Tarot”, and bingo! He had one last deck tucked away in the back. Finally!
Let me tell you, actually getting my hands on the deck felt great. It wasn’t just about buying something, it felt like completing a quest, kinda. Now that I have them, I’ve started practicing. It’s a learning curve, for sure. I’ve been pulling a card each day, trying to connect with it, and also reading the little guidebook that came with the deck. I found an old book about tarot cards, that one is a lot better than that little guidebook, I don’t like that little one much!
The imagery on these “Mystic Dreamer” cards is something else. They really take you to another world, like you’re walking through a “dark wood”, just as one review said. It’s all very dreamy and, well, mystical. I’m still figuring out all the meanings and how to do proper readings, but it’s been a fun and interesting journey so far.
So, that’s my story about getting into tarot cards and finding the “Mystic Dreamer” deck. It’s been quite the experience, from the hunt for the cards to actually starting to use them. I’m excited to see where this takes me. Maybe I’ll become a tarot pro, who knows? For now, I’m just enjoying the ride and learning as I go.
