Okay, so I’ve been messing around with these Native American tarot cards lately, and I gotta say, it’s been a real trip. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I figured, why not give it a go? I’ve always been kinda drawn to Native American stuff, you know, the whole vibe. So, I picked up a couple of decks online – one called “Native American Tarot” and another one called “Vision Quest.” They looked pretty neat in the pictures, so I thought I’d roll the dice.
First thing I did was just try to get a feel for the cards. I mean, I’ve messed with regular tarot a bit, but this was different. There’s a 48 page book with the card set. I laid them all out, just like the instructions said. It was a lot to take in, all these different images and symbols. The book said to get familiar with each group, I was like, okay, let’s do this.
I started with just understanding the basic meaning of each card, especially these like, major ones, like The Empress. Oh man, The Empress. That card is something else, I’ll tell you what. But you know what really got me? The Fool card. In most tarot decks, the Fool is like, a big deal. So, I’m flipping through, trying to get a handle on all this, and I realize there are all these different animals and spirits and things. It’s like a whole other language, but it somehow made sense. Like I knew the symbols before I knew the symbols.
Then I tried doing some readings. I mean, I’m no pro, but I figured I’d see what happened. I shuffled the cards, fanned them out, just like you see in movies and stuff, and picked a few. I waved my hand over the cards and scanned them. I felt the heat on my hand while I was picking. It was kinda wild. The cards I pulled, they really seemed to resonate with what was going on in my life at the time. It was like they were talking to me, you know? I was trying to make sense of them, the interpretations in the book seemed to have many possibilities.
I did a few more readings, for myself and a couple of friends, and it was the same thing. The cards just seemed to know stuff. I was able to tell my friends some things about themselves. It’s like, there’s this whole other level of understanding that these cards unlock. I know it sounds kinda out there, but it’s true. I even tried another deck. I used the Quester. The deck has a major, it was pretty good too!
I gotta say, these Native American tarot cards are something special. I was thinking about how the cards represent the person. There’s something about them that just feels really grounded and connected to, like, the earth and the sky and everything. I could see myself in the cards. I don’t know if I can explain it, but it’s like they tap into something ancient and wise. Like, the wisdom of the Native Americans, which is super deep, you know? I felt like I was learning some stuff just by holding them, like I was connecting to something bigger than myself.
Anyway, I’m still learning, still exploring. I tried some Native American spreads and it made things more clear for me. But I definitely recommend these cards to anyone who’s curious. Especially if you’re into Native American culture or spirituality. It’s a whole different way of looking at things, and it’s pretty mind-blowing, to be honest. If you are into the rhythms of the sky, then you can try them! So yeah, that’s my experience with Native American tarot cards so far. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m definitely gonna keep going with it.
