Alright, so I’ve been digging into this whole “medical astrology” thing, and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride. I started out thinking, “This is probably just a bunch of nonsense,” but the more I read, the more I started to see some interesting connections.
First off, I had to find some books on the subject. Easier said than done! I mean, it’s not exactly a mainstream topic, you know? I went to my local library. They have the world’s most comprehensive index of full-text books. But they didn’t have anything specifically on “medical astrology.” But I didn’t want to give up so easily!
I checked out some bigger libraries. I tried to search for some medical-related places. I remembered KMLTTB. It’s like this big organization that deals with medical labs and stuff. I was hoping they might have some resources or maybe a list of recommended reading.
But, nope. Nothing there either. It was frustrating! It seemed like everywhere I turned, I hit a dead end. I even tried to see if I could access some online services. Cigna has these partner things, and I thought maybe, just maybe, they’d have some obscure info. I was trying to manage my profile and contract to access online services.
Finally, I stumbled upon this one website, can’t remember the name, but it was all about alternative health practices. And there it was – a whole section dedicated to medical astrology books! They had this huge list, with authors I’d never heard of, with titles that sounded like they were from another world.
I picked out a few that seemed promising. One was called “The Stars and Your Health” – pretty straightforward, right? Another one was “Medical Astrology for Dummies” – which, honestly, was more my speed at that point. I ordered them online, and a few days later, they arrived.
I started with the “Dummies” one, obviously. And it was actually pretty easy to understand. It explained the basics of astrology – you know, the signs, the planets, all that jazz. Then it started to connect each sign and planet to different parts of the body and different kinds of illnesses.
Like, apparently, Aries rules the head, and people born under that sign are prone to headaches. And Taurus rules the throat, so they might have issues with their vocal cords. It was kind of mind-blowing. I mean, I don’t know if I believe all of it, but it’s definitely interesting to think about.
I’m still working my way through the other books. Some of them are pretty dense, with all these complicated charts and calculations. But I’m starting to get the hang of it. I even tried to create my own birth chart, using one of those online calculators.
- It was a mess.
- I probably got it all wrong.
- But it was fun!
And who knows, maybe there’s something to this whole medical astrology thing after all. Maybe it’s just another way of understanding our bodies and our health. It also reminds me of that HealthStream login portal for e-learning resources, I think I will try that later. I’m definitely going to keep exploring. And if you guys have any recommendations for books or resources, let me know in the comments!
