Today, I started messing around with runes and tarot cards, just to see what it was all about. I’ve always been kind of curious about this stuff, you know? So, I grabbed a deck of tarot cards and a set of runes I found online.
First, I tried to get a feel for the tarot cards. I shuffled them real good, thinking about my day and what I wanted to learn. Then, I laid out three cards like the instructions said. It was supposed to be a simple past, present, future reading. The cards I got were pretty interesting. One was like, this strong figure, which the guide said represented power or something. Another was a card with a bunch of cups, which apparently meant emotions or relationships. And the last one was all dark and scary, but the book said it wasn’t necessarily bad, just about change and transformation. I was like “hmm, could be about anything.”
After that, I tried the runes. Man, these things are weird. They’re like little stones with symbols on them. I closed my eyes, mixed them up in their bag, and pulled one out. The symbol I got was supposed to represent travel or movement. Which I guess makes sense because I’ve been thinking about going on a trip soon.

- Pulled a rune representing travel.
It’s all kind of vague, but it was fun to do. I mean, I don’t know if I believe in this stuff, but it’s definitely interesting to think about. It’s like, maybe there’s more to the world than we can see, you know? I did feel something. It makes me start to think about my life in a very deep way.
My Feelings
I might keep messing around with these cards and runes, just for kicks. It’s kind of like a little game you play with yourself. Who knows, maybe I’ll learn something new, maybe it can show me something about myself that I didn’t know. I felt like I opened a very new door today!
