Okay, so today I’m gonna talk about my little adventure with the Seven of Swords tarot card. You know, I’ve been messing around with tarot for a while now, just for fun, and sometimes the cards really make you think. The Seven of Swords, though, that one got me doing a double-take.
My Practice
It all started like any other day. I shuffled my deck, laid out the cards, and bam, there it was, the Seven of Swords staring right back at me. Now, I’m no tarot expert, but I know enough to get that this card’s got a vibe. It’s all about sneakiness, maybe some white lies, or getting away with something. Not exactly the kind of stuff I’m usually about.
So, I dug around a bit, reading up on what this card’s supposed to mean. Some folks say it’s about deception and trickery, others say it’s more about strategy and being clever. It got me thinking, “When have I been sneaky recently?” I mean, we all stretch the truth a little sometimes, right?
My Record of Implementation
Here’s what I did: I started a journal, just a little notebook, and I committed to writing down every time I felt like I was being a bit sneaky or maybe not totally upfront. It could be something small, like telling my friend I loved her new haircut when I actually didn’t, or sneaking an extra cookie when I was supposed to be on a diet. The point was to catch myself in the act and see what was really going on.
At first, it was kinda fun, like I was a spy in my own life. I noticed I was doing these little sneaky things more often than I thought. Like, I’d tell my boss I was working on a project when I was actually just scrolling through social media. Ouch, right? That one stung a bit.
- Day 1: Skipped out early from work, told everyone I had a dentist appointment. Nope. Just wanted to beat the traffic.
- Day 3: “Borrowed” my roommate’s fancy shampoo without asking. Figured she wouldn’t notice.
- Day 7: Told my mom I was eating healthy. Meanwhile, I had a burger for lunch. Again.
But as the days went by, it wasn’t so fun anymore. It was actually kind of a bummer to see all those little lies and deceptions written down in black and white. It made me realize that even these small things, they added up. And they didn’t make me feel good.
So, I decided to make a change. I started being more honest, even when it was hard. I told my friend the truth about her haircut, in a nice way, of course. I owned up to using my roommate’s shampoo, and I even confessed to my mom about my burger habit. And you know what? It felt really good. Like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.
Finally Achieved
Now, I’m not saying I’m a perfect angel now. I still mess up sometimes. But I’m way more aware of my actions, and I try my best to be upfront and honest. And it all started with that one tarot card, the Seven of Swords. Who knew a little piece of cardboard could teach you so much about yourself?
So, if you ever pull the Seven of Swords in a reading, don’t freak out. Just take a moment to reflect on your own actions. Are you being totally honest with yourself and others? Or are you hiding something, even if it’s just from yourself? It’s definitely something to think about. And hey, maybe start a journal. It might just change your life, like it did mine.
