Okay, so I’ve been getting a ton of questions about proposal timing, and honestly, who hasn’t wondered “when is he gonna pop the question?!” I decided to dive into the astrology of it all, because, why not? It’s fun, and sometimes surprisingly accurate. Here’s how my little experiment went down.
First, I grabbed my boyfriend’s birth info – date, time, and place. You need all three for a truly accurate chart. (Pro tip: If you don’t know the exact birth time, try asking his mom! Mine was surprisingly chill about it.) I also made sure I had my own birth info handy, because, you know, it takes two to tango… or get engaged.
Digging into the Charts
Next, I opened up my trusty astrology software. I mainly focus on a few key things when it comes to marriage predictions:
- Venus: This is the planet of love and relationships, so, super important! I checked where Venus was in his chart and what aspects (angles) it was making to other planets. Good aspects (like trines and sextiles) are generally positive, while challenging aspects (squares and oppositions) could mean delays or complications.
- The 7th House: This is the house of marriage and partnerships. I looked to see what planets were hanging out in his 7th house, and what sign ruled the cusp (the beginning) of the house. This can give clues about the type of marriage he might be looking for.
- Saturn: This planet represents commitment and responsibility. If Saturn is making a strong aspect to his Venus or 7th house, it could indicate a time when he’s feeling ready to settle down. But, Saturn can also mean delays, so it’s a bit of a double-edged sword!
- Transits: This is where it gets really interesting. Transits are where the planets are now in relation to his birth chart. I focused on transits of Jupiter (planet of luck and expansion) and Saturn to his Venus and 7th house. These can often trigger major life events, like, you know, a proposal!
- Progressed Chart: I also looked into the progressed chart, to view any furthur triggers.
Putting It All Together
So, after spending a good few hours poring over his chart (and mine, for comparison!), I started to see some patterns. His Venus is in a pretty good spot, making some nice aspects to Jupiter. His 7th house is ruled by a sign that values stability and tradition, which is encouraging. And… drumroll… I noticed that transiting Jupiter is going to be making a positive aspect to his Venus in about six months!
Of course, this isn’t a guarantee. Astrology is more about probabilities and potentials than hard-and-fast predictions. But, it definitely gave me a fun little project, and it’s made me feel a bit more… informed, I guess? It’s like having a little cosmic insight into his head. Now, it’s just a waiting game! I’ll keep you all updated, of course. Fingers crossed!
