Okay, so the other day, I was digging into this whole astrology thing, and I got curious about how in-laws are represented in a birth chart. I mean, family is family, right? But in-laws, that’s a whole different dynamic. So, I started poking around, trying to figure out which house is the key.
First, I remembered the basics. Like, the 1st house is all about you, the individual. And the 7th house? That’s your partner, your spouse, your one-on-one relationships.
Then it hit me. If the 7th house is the spouse, and you are looking at everything related to that spouse, in a way we can consider the logic that what the first house is for you, the second is for the family.
My Research Process:
- Started with the known: 1st house = self, 7th house = spouse.
- The Logic: So the 2nd house is family from the 1st house’s “self”.
- Applied this to the 7th house: Then the next house to the 7th, that is the 8th house, should represent the family of the spouse, i.e, in-laws.
So after looking into it more, it turns out, that the 8th house really is what represents the in-laws in astrology.
It made total sense when I thought about it, all family relations of my spouse, are right there in the 8th house!
