So, I decided to try this “tarot du jour” thing, which basically means “tarot of the day.” I’ve been kinda curious about tarot, but never really dove in. Figured this would be a chill way to start.

First, I grabbed my deck. It’s a pretty standard Rider-Waite deck I picked up at a local bookstore. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. I shuffled the cards, you know, just kinda mixing them up while thinking about the day ahead. Trying to clear my head and all that.
My Drawing Process
- Shuffled the deck.
- Focused on the general question, “What do I need to know today?”
- Drew a single card.
Then I drew a single card. Just one. I wasn’t trying to do a full-blown reading or anything. Just wanted a little something to ponder.
The card I pulled was The Lovers. At first,I was like, “Oh, Okay, romance is in the air?” Maybe a easy day at job? But then I looked at the little booklet that came with the deck, and it was more about choices and aligning with your values. Bigger picture stuff.
I spent a few minutes just sitting with the card, looking at the * Lovers showed two pepole and angles.I thinking about what decisions might be on the horizon. Not necessarily romantic ones, but any kind of choice where I needed to really think about what’s important to me.

I have not make any big decison today, but I think this card pull is pretty intersting for my first time to play Tarot, and it gaves me some power to face a new day!
