Okay, so today I was kinda bored and had this weird idea: What if I checked out Warren Buffett’s horoscope? I mean, the guy’s a legend when it comes to money, so maybe there’s something in the stars about it? I don’t really know much about astrology, but it seemed like a fun little experiment.
Digging for Clues
First, I needed to find Buffett’s birthdate. That was easy enough, a quick search and boom – August 30, 1930. That makes him a Virgo, apparently. Then I started looking for websites that could give me a birth chart, or horoscope, whatever you want to call it. There were tons of them, and honestly, it was a little overwhelming. Most were pretty basic, give you your daily horoscope.
The Charting Process
I picked one that seemed alright and plugged in his birthdate, time (I guessed 3 PM, no idea if it’s right!), and place (Omaha, Nebraska). It spat out this complicated-looking chart with all these lines and symbols. I felt a bit lost, but I was determined to make some sense of it. I then try to read a more complete one from another website.
Making Sense of It All (Or Trying To)
The website gave some interpretations of the chart, talking about planets in different houses and aspects and whatnot. Some of it sounded vaguely like Buffett, like mentioning a practical and analytical mind (Virgo, right?). There was stuff about being detail-oriented and having a knack for long-term planning. I mean, that sounds a bit like a successful investor, doesn’t it? I’m not saying it’s 100% accurate, but it’s kind of interesting.
My (Very) Amateur Interpretation
Honestly, I’m no expert. This is all just for fun. But based on what I read, it seemed like there were some planetary placements that could maybe be interpreted as favorable for building wealth. I mean, that is from several free websites.

I read about Saturn, that’s the “discipline” planet, and how it was positioned relative to other planets. I really had zero idea with these.
The Verdict?
So, did I unlock the secrets to Buffett’s success through his horoscope? Probably not. But it was a fun way to spend an afternoon, and it got me thinking about how different people approach understanding success. Maybe there’s something to astrology, maybe not. But it’s definitely an interesting lens to look through!
I think will do some more search for a serious one, and find some books to read next time. Maybe, just maybe find a real astrologer to explain to me.
