Well, ain’t this something? Them Adventure Time tarot cards, they’re all the rage now, ain’t they? Kids these days, always with their newfangled things. But you know, even an old biddy like me can see the appeal. It’s like they took that crazy cartoon, all them goofy characters and weird adventures, and slapped ’em onto them fancy cards that tell your fortune.
Now, I ain’t one for all that mumbo jumbo, mind you. But I heard these cards ain’t just for show. They got all the same stuff as those regular tarot cards, the ones them fancy city folks use. You know, the Fool, the Magician, the High Priestess, all them big shots. But instead of old-timey pictures, they got Finn and Jake and Princess Bubblegum. Makes it a bit more fun, I guess. Easier for the young’uns to understand, maybe.
I seen my grandkid fiddlin’ with ’em once. Said she was doin’ a “reading” or somethin’. She laid out the cards all fancy, talked about journey’s and challenges and all sorts of things. Sounded like hogwash to me, but she seemed to be havin’ fun. And I reckon that’s what matters most, ain’t it?
- The Fool – That’s Finn, of course! Always rushin’ into things without thinkin’, bless his heart.
- The Magician – I’d say that’s Ice King, what with all his crazy spells and whatnot.
- The High Priestess – Gotta be Princess Bubblegum, all smart and knowin’ everything.
But it ain’t just about the pictures. Them cards are supposed to mean somethin’, right? Like, if you pull the Death card, it don’t mean you’re gonna kick the bucket. It just means somethin’s changin’, like growin’ up or movin’ away or somethin’. And the Adventure Time folks, they done a good job matchin’ the pictures to the meanin’. Like, I seen one with Lumpy Space Princess on the Strength card. Now, that gal’s got more strength in her little finger than most folks got in their whole body, even if she is a bit… odd.
I ain’t gonna lie, I might even try these cards myself. Just for kicks, you know? See what the future holds for this old lady. Maybe I’ll pull the Empress and win the lottery. Or maybe I’ll pull the Tower and my roof will cave in. Who knows? That’s the fun of it, I guess. Never knowin’ what’s gonna happen next.
Now, I heard tell these cards ain’t “official.” Means they ain’t made by the folks who make the cartoon. But who cares? If they’re fun and they help you think about your life a bit, what’s the harm? And they’re a lot cheaper than them fancy tarot cards, that’s for sure.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a little bit of fun, a little bit of magic, maybe you should give them Adventure Time tarot cards a try. Might just surprise yourself. And hey, even if you don’t believe in all that fortune tellin’ stuff, they’re still pretty to look at. Like little pieces of art. And who don’t like a little bit of art in their life?
Anyways, gotta go now. Got chores to do. But you think on what I said, alright? Might just be somethin’ to it. These Adventure Time tarot cards, they’re more than just a silly cartoon. They’re a way to look at the world, at your life, in a whole new way. And who knows, maybe they’ll help you find your own adventure.
