Well, well, well, let’s talk about them shiny rocks, you know, the astrology crystals. Don’t ask me why, but folks say they’re good for stuff. Some are pretty, gotta say that. Like jewelry, but more…mystical?
So, they tell me there’s a rock for every time of year you’re born. I dunno ’bout that. Seems like a lot of rocks to keep track of. But, if you’re one of them Aries folks, born when the weather’s starting to warm up, they say you should get yourself a bloodstone. Sounds kinda scary, don’t it? Like somethin’ from a witch story. But they say it’s good for you Aries folks, helps ya be all adventurous and jumpy, I guess.
- They say these rocks make you feel things stronger, like if you already got a hunch about somethin’, the rock makes it shout louder. Like your gut talkin’ but with a megaphone.
- They also say these rocks help you be better at what you’re already good at, and fix up the stuff you ain’t so good at. Like, if you’re a clumsy fella, maybe a rock will make ya less clumsy. Dunno how that works, but they say it.
People write all sorts of things about these rocks, sayin’ they connect you to your “soul” and all that fancy talk. I ain’t got no soul I know of, just me, plain and simple. But if them rocks make you feel good, who am I to argue? You wanna carry around a rock, you carry it.
Now, some say these rocks ain’t got nothin’ to do with when you’re born. Say it’s all hogwash, just pretty things to look at. They say the rocks are for protectin’ you from bad stuff, from bad people and bad vibes. Like a shield, I guess. And they help you think better, when you’re sittin’ quietly and tryin’ to figure things out. They say you give somethin’ to the universe when you use these rocks, whatever that means. Seems like a lot of trouble for a rock, don’t it?
But, I hear they got a rock for every star sign, whatever they call ’em. Like, if you’re born in the summer, you get a different rock than someone born in the winter. Supposed to help you be the best version of yourself, whatever that is. Like a little helper in rock form. Helps ya get rid of the stuff that gets in your way.
I don’t know much about all this star stuff and rock stuff. Seems kinda complicated to me. But if it makes people happy, I guess it’s alright. If you believe a rock can help you, maybe it can. Mind over matter, they say. Or maybe it’s just a pretty rock that catches the light nice. Either way, ain’t hurtin’ nobody. You go on and get yourself a rock if you want. Just don’t go expectin’ it to do your chores for ya. It’s still just a rock, after all.
