Alright, let’s talk about this Dinakaran horoscope thing, you know, the one them city folks are always yappin’ about. I don’t know much about fancy stars and planets, but I reckon it’s kinda like lookin’ at the weather before plantin’ crops. You wanna know what’s comin’, right?

Now, they talk about all these star signs, like, uh, Sagittarius, somethin’ about fire and bein’ all adventurous. Reminds me of my grandson, always runnin’ off into the woods, chasin’ squirrels. Then there’s Taurus, the bull, strong and stubborn, like my old mule, Jedediah. Wouldn’t budge an inch unless he wanted to.
What them stars are sayin’, or so they claim
- Aries: They say Aries folks are fiery, always ready to go. Like a rooster in the henhouse, I tell ya!
- Taurus: These are the steady ones, like I said, stubborn as a mule, but good workers, dependable.
- Gemini: Now these ones, they say they got two sides to ’em. Like a coin, flip-floppin’ all the time. Can’t ever make up their minds, seems like.
- Cancer: Sensitive folks, they say. Like a flower, needs a lot of waterin’ and sunshine.
- Leo: The kings and queens, they are. Proud and loud, like a peacock struttin’ its stuff.
- Virgo: Pick-y, pick-y, pick-y. Always fussin’ over little things. Like my sister-in-law, bless her heart, always dustin’ even when there ain’t no dust.
- Libra: They like things balanced, they say. Fair and square. Like a good scale, gotta be even on both sides.
- Scorpio: Mysterious ones, these are. Like a deep well, you can’t see what’s at the bottom.
- Sagittarius: Adventurous, like I said, always lookin’ for somethin’ new. Like my grandson, restless as a fly.
- Capricorn: Hard workers, they are. Always climbin’ that mountain, tryin’ to get to the top. Like my neighbor, always out in his field, even when it’s rainin’.
- Aquarius: The thinkers, they say. Got their heads in the clouds, dreamin’ up big ideas. Like my nephew, always talkin’ about buildin’ a rocket to the moon, bless his heart.
- Pisces: Dreamy ones, these are. Like a fish swimmin’ in the water, goin’ wherever the current takes ’em.
Now, I seen some of them horoscopes, all written in that fancy Tamil language. They say things like, “Good day for business,” or “Your boss will be happy with you.” Sometimes they talk about gettin’ married or havin’ babies. I dunno, sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me sometimes. But then again, sometimes it’s kinda spot-on, you know?
Like the other day, it said, “Beware of arguments.” And wouldn’t you know it, I had a big ol’ fight with the neighbor about his cows eatin’ my corn. So, maybe there’s somethin’ to it after all, I reckon.
They say somethin’ about planets, too. Like the moon, and somethin’ called Mercury. I don’t know much about them planets, but I do know the moon pulls the tides, so maybe it pulls our moods, too. Who knows? It’s all a mystery to this old woman, I tell ya.
So, should you believe this Dinakaran horoscope? Well, that’s up to you. I reckon it’s like plantin’ seeds. Sometimes they grow, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes the weather’s good, sometimes it’s bad. Life’s like that, full of surprises. Maybe the stars can give you a little heads-up, maybe they can’t. But it don’t hurt to read ’em, I guess. Just take it with a grain of salt, that’s what I say.
And remember, no matter what them stars say, you gotta make your own luck in this world. Hard work and a good heart, that’s what matters most, if you ask me. And maybe a little bit of sunshine and rain, to keep them crops growin’ and that smile on your face.
They even got dates on there, like “Nov 26, 2024” and then they say somethin’ in Tamil, like “வியாபாரத்தில் புது ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்தாகும். உத்தியோகத்தில் மேலதிகாரி ஒத்துழைப்பார். மகிழ்ச்சியான நாள்.” I guess that means something good gonna happen that day.
