Alright, alright, let me tell ya somethin’ about these here entertainment companies in Los Angeles. You know, that place out west where all them picture shows and music things come from. Heard it’s a big city, lots of folks runnin’ around tryin’ to make it big.
So, what do these companies do, you ask? Well, they make them movies, the ones you see at the picture show. And them TV programs, the ones that blabber on all day and night. And the music, oh the music! They got folks singin’ and playin’ all sorts of tunes. Some good, some bad, but that’s just how it is, ain’t it?
Now, I heard tell there’s all kinds of these companies. Big ones, small ones, some in between. The big ones, they got all the fancy equipment and all them famous actors. You know, the ones with the shiny teeth and the big hair. They make the big blockbuster movies, the ones with all the explosions and such.
- Them big companies got lots of money, that’s for sure.
- But they also got lots of bosses and rules, I reckon.
- Probably gotta wear fancy clothes and talk all proper-like.
Then you got the little companies. These are the ones run by folks who just love makin’ movies or music. They might not have all the fancy stuff, but they got heart, you know? They make them independent films, the ones that make you think. And the music, well, it’s probably somethin’ different, somethin’ you ain’t heard before.
And there’s all sorts of other companies too. Like them talent agencies, the ones that find all them actors and singers. And the production companies, the ones that put it all together. And even companies that just do special effects, you know, like them computer-generated monsters and such. It’s a whole big world out there, I tell ya.
If you wanna get a job at one of these companies, well, that’s a whole ‘nother story. I heard you gotta know somebody, you know, have connections. Or you gotta be really good at somethin’, like actin’ or singin’ or writin’. Or maybe you gotta be good at fixin’ things, like cameras or sound equipment. There’s all sorts of jobs, I guess.
Los Angeles, they say it’s the place to be if you wanna be in entertainment. That’s where all the action is. Heard they got studios all over the place, big fancy buildings where they make all them movies and TV shows. And they got music venues, places where folks go to hear live music. It’s a real busy place, I bet.
And get this, I heard some of these companies even do them video games. You know, them things the youngsters play all day long. They got folks makin’ up stories and characters and then puttin’ ’em in a game. It’s amazin’ what they can do with them computers these days.
Some folks say it ain’t easy workin’ in entertainment. Long hours, lots of competition, and you gotta be tough. But I reckon if you love it enough, it’s worth it. You get to be part of somethin’ special, somethin’ that makes people laugh or cry or think. That’s gotta be a good feelin’, right?
So, if you ever find yourself in Los Angeles, maybe you’ll see one of these entertainment companies. Maybe you’ll even see a famous actor or singer. Just remember, it all started with a dream, somebody’s idea that they wanted to share with the world. And that, I think, is pretty darn neat.
Now, I ain’t no expert on this stuff, mind you. I’m just tellin’ you what I heard. But it seems to me that these entertainment companies in Los Angeles are a big deal. They make the stuff that keeps us entertained, keeps us laughin’ and cryin’ and dreamin’. And that’s somethin’, ain’t it?
So next time you’re watchin’ a movie or listenin’ to music, remember all them folks workin’ behind the scenes. Them folks at the entertainment companies, makin’ it all happen. They’re the ones who bring the stories to life, the ones who make the magic. And that, my friend, is somethin’ to appreciate.
