Alright, alright, let’s talk about them…what do you call ’em? Astrology piercings, yeah, that’s it. Now, I ain’t no fancy city gal, but I’ve heard some things, seen some things, you know?
So, first off, what are these astrology piercings anyways? Seems like it’s all about pokin’ holes in your ears in the shape of them star patterns, the…uh…constellations. Sounds kinda purdy, I guess, if you’re into that kinda thing. Folks are gettin’ all sorts of piercings these days, so why not stars, right?
Now, they say where you put them piercings matters. Like, if you’re gonna get a buncha them little star piercings, you gotta plan it out. Can’t just go pokin’ holes willy-nilly, ya know? Now, I heard tell that some folks think this piercing can help with them headaches and…what’s that word…anxiety? You know, when you’re all worked up and jittery? Beats me how a little hole can do all that, but hey, if it works, it works. Folks used to swear by all sorts of remedies back in my day, so who am I to judge? If stickin’ a needle in your ear makes you feel better, then go for it, I say.
And get this, some folks even believe that pokin’ holes in your ears got somethin’ to do with…spirits and stars and all that mystical stuff. Especially in them far-off places, across the big ol’ ocean. They think it brings you luck or somethin’. Well, I reckon luck is what you make it, but if a little earring makes you feel lucky, then who am I to say otherwise?
- Ear Piercings: These are the regular ones, the ones everyone gets. You can put one, two, three, or heck, even ten in each ear if you want!
- Constellation Piercings: These are the fancy ones, where they make star patterns on your ear. Gotta plan ’em out, though, or they’ll just look like a mess.
- Daith Piercings: This one’s tucked away inside your ear and some folks say it helps with headaches and stuff.
Now, some say your star sign, you know, like if you’re a…uh…a Ram or a Crab or somethin’, that can tell you what kind of piercing you should get. Like if you’re a fiery kinda person, maybe you get a bold piercing. If you’re more gentle, maybe you get somethin’ dainty. It’s all about matchin’ your insides to your outsides, I guess. Like wearin’ your heart on your sleeve, but instead you’re wearin’ your stars on your ear. Sounds kinda poetic, don’t it?
But let me tell you somethin’, all this talk about stars and piercings, it’s all well and good, but the most important thing is to be yourself. Don’t go gettin’ a piercing just ’cause some fancy magazine or some star-gazer tells you to. You gotta do what makes you happy. If you wanna poke holes in your ears, go ahead. If you don’t, then don’t. It’s your body, your choice. And that’s all there is to it.
And one more thing, make sure you go to someone who knows what they’re doin’. Don’t let just anybody poke holes in ya! You want someone clean and experienced, someone who ain’t gonna mess you up. You wouldn’t let a blind hog fix your fence, would ya? Same goes for piercings. You get what you pay for, and you don’t want to end up with a mess on your hands…or ears. So be smart about it, folks. That’s my advice to ya.
So, there you have it. My two cents on these astrology piercings. Maybe it makes sense, maybe it don’t. But like I said, you do what makes you happy. And if a little bit of star dust on your ear makes you feel good, then shine on, I say. Shine on.
