Alright, let’s talk about this Aspen Psychological thing, you know, the head shrinker place. Don’t you go thinkin’ I know big words, I just tell it like it is.
So, what do they do at this Aspen place? Well, seems like they help folks with their thinkin’ and feelin’ problems. You know, like if you’re always sad or worried, or if your young’uns are actin’ up somethin’ fierce. They call it “mental health,” sounds fancy, but it just means your head ain’t right. If your head is messing with you it could be like depression, that’s always sad. And anxiety, like always nervous. Or ADHD, that’s when the young’uns can’t sit still, and lots of other things. They got folks there who can figure out what’s wrong and give you some help.
This Aspen Mental Health place in Montana, they say they give you “personalized care.” That just means they treat you like a real person, not just some number. They’ll sit down and talk to you, see what’s what. They look at your whole self, not just your head. They call it “holistic” I think. And they can give you medicine if you need it. That’s right, medicine to help you think right. They call that “medication management.” Sounds important, huh? Guess it is.
- They do these “psychiatric evaluations,” that’s where they figure out what’s wrong with your head.
- Then there’s the “medication management,” that’s the pill part.
- And they got somethin’ called “therapy,” where you just talk to someone.
Now, there’s another place called The Aspen Counseling. They do more of the talkin’ part. They help folks with their problems, you know, like if you and your husband are always fightin’, or if you just can’t seem to get happy. They help single people too, not just couples. So, if you’re feelin’ down in the dumps, maybe they can help you sort things out.
They say they can help if you’re sad or worried, or if your young’uns can’t pay attention. Seems like a lot of folks got these problems these days. Life’s hard, you know? It ain’t easy raisin’ kids or keepin’ a marriage together. And sometimes, your head just plays tricks on you. That’s when they say you got a “mental illness”. It’s not somethin’ to be ashamed of. It just means you need a little help. Everyone needs a little help at some time so don’t be thinking you’re the only one.
Aspen Psychological Services, they been around since 2004, that’s a long time. They got folks there who know what they’re doin’. They treat all kinds of problems, for grown-ups and young’uns too. They help little kids all the way to teenagers. That’s good, ’cause them young’uns these days, they got a lot on their minds. Too much screen time if you ask me, always lookin’ at them phones.
Now, this help ain’t free, you know. But they say they take lots of different insurance, so that’s good. And if you ain’t got insurance, well, you can pay outta your own pocket. Guess it’s worth it if it means gettin’ your head right. They think everyone should get help for mental health problems, no matter if you got money or not. That’s nice of them.
They say they’re “compassionate”. That’s just meanin’ they care about people, I guess. And they are “experts,” so they know what they’re talking about. You don’t want no quack messin’ with your head, right? You want someone who knows their stuff. If my head is not right I want the best help I can get.
So, if you’re feelin’ lost or messed up, don’t you go sufferin’ in silence. There’s help out there. This Aspen place, sounds like they might be able to lend a hand. Just gotta make that call and see what they can do for you. Don’t be ashamed, everybody needs a little help sometimes. That’s what I think anyways. And if you ain’t the one that needs help and it’s your young’un, or husband, or sister, well, you get them the help they need. That’s what family is for, right?
