Okay, so yesterday I tried out this Big River Psychology thing. I’ve been feeling kinda off lately, you know? Like, not myself. So I thought, why not give therapy a shot? Heard good things about this place from a buddy.
First, I looked up this Hannah Nixon person. Apparently, she’s the one running the show at Big River Psychology. Found her name all over the place when I was searching. Seems like she’s got a solid rep, which is good.
Then, I tried to find their contact info. It said to call or email, and the number was (406) 296-5393. I’m not a big phone person, so I decided to shoot them an email. Asked about setting up an appointment and what the fees were like.
- Sent an email
- Asked about appointments
- Inquired about fees
While I was waiting for a reply, I did some more digging. Found out they offer both in-person and online therapy. That’s pretty cool, especially these days. You can choose whatever makes you more comfortable.
Checked Their Services
- In-person therapy
- Online therapy
I also saw that they have a waitlist. So, I guess they’re pretty popular. I made a mental note to ask about that when they got back to me. I don’t want to be waiting forever, you know?
From what I could gather, they help all sorts of folks – different backgrounds, different issues. It’s not just for one type of person or problem. That’s a relief. I wanted a place that feels welcoming to everyone.
I found some local business listings for them too. Wanted to make sure I had the right address and all that. Don’t want to end up at the wrong place on the day of the appointment. That would be awkward.
Oh, and I checked out Hannah’s profile online. Seemed like she had a bunch of experience, which is reassuring. It’s good to know you’re talking to someone who knows their stuff.
They talked about providing a “safe space” to talk about your feelings. That’s exactly what I’m looking for. I need a place where I can just let it all out without feeling judged.
It also mentioned something about mental health services being more available now. That’s a good point. It’s not like the old days where it was all hush-hush. People are more open about this stuff now.
Lastly, I read about this other place, the ReAnKos Counseling Center. They have an English-speaking team and help people of all ages. I figured it’s good to know about other options, just in case.
So yeah, that was my little adventure into the world of Big River Psychology. Still waiting to hear back, but I’m feeling hopeful. Taking that first step felt like a big deal, but I’m glad I did it. I’ll keep you guys posted on how it goes!
