Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this tarot thing lately, and I gotta say, it’s pretty wild. First off, I had to do some math. Yeah, I know, not everyone’s favorite subject, but it’s simple addition, so bear with me. I jotted down my birth month and day, and then the current year. My birthday is July 25th, so that’s 7 for July and 25 for the day. And we’re looking at 2024 right now.

- Current Year: 2024
Next up, I added all those numbers together. So, 7 plus 25 plus 2024, which gave me 2056. It is a pretty big number, but we are not done yet. We need to make it smaller, I guess.
Now, because tarot cards, especially the Major Arcana ones, only go up to 21 (or 22 if you count The Fool, which is kinda like zero), I had to reduce that number. I did that by adding up the individual digits of 2056. That’s 2, 0, 5, and 6. When I added those, I got 13.
13! That’s my Tarot Card of the Year number. In the Major Arcana, the number 13 card is Death. Before you freak out, it’s not about, like, actual dying. It’s more about transformation, change, and letting go of the old to make way for the new. Which, honestly, kinda makes sense for where I’m at in life right now.
