Alright, so you wanna know about this Angelina Jolie, huh? And somethin’ about Greece? Okay, okay, I’ll tell ya what I heard. Don’t expect no fancy words, though, I ain’t no scholar, just a plain ol’ woman tellin’ it like it is.
So, this Angelina Jolie, she’s a big movie star, everyone knows that. Seen her on the TV a few times, pretty lady, but skinny as a rail, if you ask me. Anyways, they say she’s over in Greece now, makin’ a movie. A movie about some Greek singer lady, an opera singer, they call it. Maria, I think her name was. Don’t know much about opera, sounds like a lot of screechin’ to me, but hey, to each their own, right?
They sayin’ Angelina, she changed herself up real good for this movie. You know, like wearin’ different clothes, different hair, maybe even talkin’ different. Actors do that, I guess, pretend to be someone else. It’s their job, I reckon. Sounds like hard work, but they get paid a whole heap of money, so can’t be complainin’ too much.
- Now, Greece, that’s a place far away, across the water. Heard it’s real pretty, lots of old buildings and sunshine.
- Don’t know why Angelina went all the way over there to make a movie, but I guess they got what they need there. Maybe they got mountains or somethin’. Movies need all sorts of things, don’t they?
And get this, there’s talk that Angelina and that Brad Pitt fella, remember him? They used to be married, real famous couple. Well, some folks say they bought a house in Greece, a big fancy one they call a villa. In a place called Oia, sounds like “oya” when you say it out loud. Don’t know if it’s true or just gossip, people like to talk, you know. Always makin’ up stories.
But listen here, this Angelina, she’s had a rough time. Her ma died from somethin’ called breast cancer, real bad sickness. And Angelina, she got the same bad gene, whatever that means. Doctors told her she might get the sickness too. That’s gotta be scary, right? So she had some parts of her body taken out, to try and stop the sickness from comin’. Brave woman, I say. Takes a lot of guts to do somethin’ like that.
Now, I heard this young girl from Greece, just a teenager, she’s gonna be in the movie with Angelina. Imagine that! A little nobody from Greece, standin’ right next to a big Hollywood star. That girl’s ma and pa must be so proud. Shows ya, anything can happen in this world, you never know.
Angelina Jolie Voight, that’s her full name, they tell me. Sounds fancy, doesn’t it? But at the end of the day, she’s just a person, like you and me. Got her own troubles, her own worries. Just because she’s on TV doesn’t mean she’s got it all figured out. Nobody does, you hear me?
