Alright, let’s talk about this astrology makeup thing, you know, the stuff them youngsters are all gabbing about these days. I ain’t no fancy city gal, but I’ve seen my fair share of things, and I reckon this makeup stuff ain’t all that different from picking out a good headscarf – gotta match your mood and what you’re doin’, right?
So, they say each star sign, or whatever they call it, has its own special way of lookin’ good. Like, them Leo ladies, they like to be all flashy and sparkly, like a peacock showin’ off its feathers. And the Libra gals, they want everything pretty and balanced, like a good set of scales. Then there’s them Pisces women, dreamy and soft, like a summer breeze. But honestly, any gal can wear whatever she wants, star signs or no star signs, that’s what I say.
Now, some folks, they get all scientific about it, sayin’ the stars don’t really control what lipstick you wear. And maybe they’re right, maybe they ain’t. I ain’t got no fancy book learnin’ to argue with them. But I figure, if it makes a gal feel good to put on some red lipstick ’cause her star sign says so, well, more power to her! This whole astrology makeup thing, it’s about matchin’ your insides to your outsides, I reckon. If you feelin’ strong and sassy, you put on some strong and sassy makeup. If you feelin’ soft and gentle, you put on somethin’ soft and gentle. Simple as that.
I remember when I was a young gal, we didn’t have all this fancy makeup. We used beet juice for lipstick and charcoal for eyeliner, and we made do. But it was the same idea, you know? We wanted to look our best, feel our best. And that’s all that matters, star signs or no star signs.
They say there’s a special look for each sign. Like, a Taurus might like somethin’ earthy and natural, you know, like them flowers that grow in the field. And a Gemini, they might want somethin’ fun and playful, maybe two different colors of eyeshadow, one for each of them twins they got. Cancer gals might like somethin’ soft and shimmery, like the moon on a clear night. And a Scorpio, well, they’re mysterious and intense, so they might go for dark, smoky eyes and deep red lipstick, like a femme fatale in them old movies.
And let’s not forget about Sagittarius, them adventurous types. They might want somethin’ bright and bold, like they’re ready to explore the world. And Aquarius, them independent thinkers, they might want somethin’ unique and unconventional, like blue lipstick or glittery eyeliner, who knows!
So, whether you’re a believer in all this star stuff or not, there’s no harm in havin’ a little fun with makeup. It’s like puttin’ on a costume, playin’ a part. And who knows, maybe them stars do have somethin’ to do with it. Maybe they’re whisperin’ secrets in our ears, tellin’ us how to look and feel our best. Or maybe it’s just a good excuse to buy some new lipstick, ha!
At the end of the day, makeup is just makeup. It’s supposed to be fun, not somethin’ to stress over. So, go on, experiment, play around, find what makes you feel good. And if your star sign tells you to wear purple eyeshadow, well, go for it! Ain’t nobody gonna stop ya, especially not this old gal.
