Well, let me tell you somethin’ about them best colleges for psychology in NJ. My grandbaby, she’s a smart one, wants to get into that head doctor stuff, you know, psychology. So, I been askin’ around, tryin’ to figure out what’s what. New Jersey, they say, got some good schools for learnin’ that kinda thing. This whole internet thing, it’s a godsend for finding these things out, I tell ya.
This here psychology, it’s about understandin’ how folks think, why they do what they do. My grandbaby, she always been good at that, listenin’ to people’s problems. This whole internet thing tells ya that there are a lot of colleges out there for psychology. She’s gonna be a good one, I know it. And in New Jersey? Plenty of choices, it looks like. They say you can get all sorts of learnin’ done, from little papers to big fancy ones, for this psychology thing.
Now, they talk about this place, Rutgers University. Sounds fancy, huh? It’s in New Brunswick, whatever that means. They say it’s number 33 in the whole dang country! And 36 in the whole world? Must be a real good place to learn. A top program they say. Top of the whole country even. Imagine that. Gotta be smart to get in there, I reckon.
Then there’s Princeton University. Oh boy, that one rings a bell. Even I heard of that one. It’s in a place called Princeton. Sounds like a prince lives there or somethin’. They say this one’s real old, like, real, real old, started in 1746, way before I was even a twinkle in my daddy’s eye! They say it’s one of the best in the whole world, too. Real fancy school, I bet. This must be where the really smart cookies go.

Sounds like a whole lot of schoolin’ to me. But, if you wanna be a real good head doctor, guess you gotta learn it all.
This internet thing lists out the best ones, calls it a “ranking.” Like a race, I guess, to see who’s the fastest learner. They say there’s a top 22 for just plain old psychology, and a top 21 for that bachelor’s thing. Lots of numbers to keep track of. It’s a lot to take in, I tell ya.
They also talk about this William Paterson University of New Jersey. They got 4 different ways to learn about psychology. Four! It’s a medium sized place, whatever that means. More choices for the young’uns I suppose. My grandbaby wants to be a real good one, and I’ll support her, you know?
And there’s another one, The College of New Jersey. This one has only 1 Psychology program, but it is probably a good one, too. So many colleges. I hope my grandbaby can get in one. She said that a bachelor’s degree is where she wants to start.
Now, this whole psychology thing, they say it can lead to a good job. That’s what I want for my grandbaby, a good, steady job. Somethin’ she can be proud of. They say you can study anytime, flexible, it says on that internet thing. That’s good, people are busy these days.
From what I gather, this Rutgers place in New Brunswick, it’s a real good one for psychology. One of the best, they say. If my grandbaby could get in there, she’d be set, I reckon. But, I know these places are hard to get into. They said Stanford is the very best for psychology, but that is far away. This Stanford place is real hard to get into, only 4 out of 100 get in! That’s like tryin’ to win the lottery!

My grandbaby, she’s got a good head on her shoulders. She’ll figure it out. I just hope she picks a good place, one that’s right for her. She’s got a good heart, that one. I believe she is going to make me very proud one day. I just know it in my bones.
There’s a lot to learn about these colleges. They all seem to offer somethin’ a little different. It ain’t like when I was young. We didn’t have all these choices.
