My heart, this thinkin’, what school good for that, uh, head-shrinking stuff, you know, psychology. Kids these days, all wantin’ to figure out what’s goin’ on in the noggin. Back in my day, we just, you know, dealt with it. But hey, times are changin’, gotta keep up, right? So, best CSU for psychology, huh? That’s what they call those California schools, CSU. Makes my head spin just thinkin’ about it.
Well, I heard from Mary down the street, her grandson, smart as a whip that one, he went to one of them CSUs. Said it was good for learnin’ about the mind and all that. Said something about, uh, “program quality.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? He’s doin’ real good now, got himself a fancy job helpin’ folks. Pays well, too, I reckon. He could buy a whole farm with what he makes! That’s very important for a good school. Gotta get you a good job after, you know?
They got a whole bunch of them CSUs, though. More than you can shake a stick at. Gotta pick the right one, like pickin’ the best darn tomato from the garden. Some are big, some are small, some are in the city, some are out in the boonies like me. Where to start? Where to start?
- California State University, they call it. Long name.
- Gotta find the best one for that psychology stuff.
- Gotta think about the money, too. Can’t be spendin’ a fortune.
That Mary, she said her grandson talked about “faculty.” I think that’s the teachers. Said they were real good, knew their stuff. Important to have good teachers, I always say. Can’t learn nothin’ from a turnip, can you? Best CSU for psychology gotta have good teachers, that’s for sure. And “research”! That’s another fancy word. What is that, lookin’ things up? Like the encyclopedia?
Then there’s this “reputation” thing. Like, is the school known for bein’ good at teachin’ that psychology? Like how my apple pie is known all ’round the county. Gotta have a good reputation, that’s important. People gotta know you’re good at what you do. Same goes for a school, I suppose. This “reputation” is very important. Good school, good “reputation”.
And what happens after you’re done with school? Gotta get a job, right? Can’t just sit around twiddlin’ your thumbs. Mary’s grandson, he said the school helped him find a good job. That’s what they call “post-graduation outcomes.” Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? But it’s important, gotta think about the future. The best CSU for psychology will help you find a good job, I reckon.
Oh, and don’t forget about the place itself. Is it a nice place to live? Is it safe? Is it close to home? Or maybe you want to get far away from home, who knows? Gotta think about that, too. Like pickin’ a good spot to plant your corn. That’s the “campus environment” and “location”. Sounds important. I think all the young people want to think about that.
And the cost! Can’t forget about the cost. School ain’t cheap these days. Gotta find one that won’t break the bank. Like findin’ a good deal on a used tractor. Gotta be smart about your money. Don’t want to be payin’ off school loans till you’re old and gray like me. If the school is too much money, it is not the best CSU for psychology.
There are many public schools. There are private schools, too. I don’t know the difference. Maybe private schools are more money. Need to find a good school but also not too much money. These young people need to find a job to pay for school, I think.
So, what’s the best darn CSU for that psychology stuff? Well, I ain’t got all the answers. But I tell you what, you gotta think about all these things. The teachers, the reputation, the cost, the place, the job you get after. It’s a lot to think about, ain’t it? Just like runnin’ a farm, gotta consider everything. This “admission requirements” thing is also important, I think. That’s how you get into the school.
You young folks, you got the internet now. You can look all this stuff up. Just type in “best CSU for psychology” and see what pops up. Back in my day, we had to walk uphill both ways to the library! But you got it easy. Use that Google thing. It is very good.
Just remember what this old lady told ya. Pick a good school, one that fits you just right. And don’t be afraid to ask for help. There’s folks out there who know about this stuff. They can help you find the right path. And work hard! Nothing in this life comes easy. You work hard, you be good. And maybe one day you can have a good job and help other people. That is a good thing.
