Okay, so, today I’m gonna talk about my little adventure with the Revelations Tarot deck. I’ve been getting into tarot lately, just for fun and a bit of self-reflection, you know? I’m no expert, just a regular person trying to figure things out.
First, I started by doing some research online. I read a bunch of articles about different tarot decks, trying to find one that felt right. I saw that the Rider Tarot and the Smith-Waite Centennial Tarot Deck were super popular, especially for beginners. Then, the Wild Unknown deck also caught my eye, it looked so cool! The Cook’s Tarot sounded interesting but I was not into the kitchen-themed things. I wanted something more…mystical, I guess.
After browsing for what felt like forever, I stumbled upon the Revelations Tarot. The images were different, I have to admit that I was looking for something special. The cards showed both upright and reversed images. This intrigued me.
So, I decided to give it a go. I ordered the deck online and waited impatiently for it to arrive. When it finally did, I ripped open the package like a kid on Christmas morning.
I spent the next few days just looking at the cards, getting a feel for them. I read the little booklet that came with the deck, trying to understand the meanings behind each card. It was a lot to take in, but I was determined to learn.
Then came the fun part – doing readings! I started with simple, one-card draws, just to get the hang of it. I’d ask a question, shuffle the deck, and pull a card. Then I’d try to interpret what it meant based on the booklet and my own intuition.
It was a bit awkward at first. I felt like I was just making stuff up. But as I practiced more, I started to see patterns. The cards seemed to resonate with my questions, offering insights that I hadn’t considered before. The upright and reversed images really added another layer of depth to the readings.
I’m still very much a beginner, but I’m enjoying the process. It’s like learning a new language, but instead of words, it’s images and symbols. And honestly, it’s just fun to see what the cards have to say. Some of my friends were skeptical at first but they all let me to read tarot cards for them after they heard my experiences.
So, that’s my journey with the Revelations Tarot so far. It’s been a cool way to tap into my intuition and learn a bit more about myself. It made me think a lot. If you’re looking for a new tarot deck, I definitely recommend checking it out. But remember, it’s all about finding what resonates with you. Happy readings!
