Okay, so today I’m gonna talk about my little project: figuring out the best-selling psychological thrillers of 2024. Sounds fancy, right? Well, it wasn’t as glamorous as it sounds, but it was kinda fun.
First, I started with a simple search. You know, just typing “best selling psychological thrillers 2024” into the search bar. I got a bunch of results, but it was all mixed up. Some were just ads, some were lists from who-knows-where, and it was a total mess.
So, I thought, “Let’s get organized.” I decided to focus on the big online bookstores. I started browsing and looking at their bestseller lists in the psychological thriller section. I made a list of the books that kept popping up.

Then came the fun part. I started reading summaries and reviews for each book on my list. I wanted to see what people were actually saying. Were they loving these books? Hating them? I even checked out a few samples to get a feel for the writing style.
- “Like It Never Happened” by Jeff Hoffmann kept coming up. Apparently, it’s a big deal this year.
- I noticed a lot of these thrillers had a funny side to them. Who knew?
- There’s this one called “Hunted,” coming out in May. People are saying it might be a bit controversial. Interesting…
After all that, I felt like I had a pretty good handle on what’s hot in the psychological thriller world this year. It was a lot of reading and clicking, but hey, I got to discover some cool new books. And who doesn’t love a good thriller, right?
So that’s my little adventure in the world of book research. It wasn’t exactly a thriller movie, but it was definitely a journey. Maybe next time I’ll tackle a different genre. Or maybe I’ll just go read one of these thrillers and call it a day.
