Okay, so I’ve been digging into this whole print-on-demand thing lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride! I decided to try my hand at making some tarot cards because, why not? I’ve always been a little bit into the mystical stuff, and I figured it would be a fun project. Plus, who doesn’t love a good side hustle?
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to figure out where to even start. I mean, I’m no artist, and I definitely don’t have the equipment to print a bunch of cards myself. So, I started Googling like crazy, and that’s when I stumbled upon the whole world of print-on-demand suppliers. Turns out, there are tons of companies out there that will print your designs on all sorts of products, including tarot cards. Sweet!
Choosing a Supplier
Now, the tricky part was choosing which supplier to go with. There are so many options, and they all claim to be the best. I spent hours reading reviews, comparing prices, and checking out their shipping times. I mean there are many suppliers offering affirmation tarot oracle card decks at low prices and they said they have good shipping times. But I need to find the best one. Finally, I narrowed it down to a few that seemed pretty legit. I ended up going with a company that had really good reviews and seemed to offer a good balance of quality and affordability.
Designing the Cards
Next up, the design process. Like I said, I’m not an artist, so I knew I needed some help. I ended up using a mix of some website templates and my own ideas to create the designs for each card. It took a while, but I was actually pretty happy with how they turned out. I went for a kind of minimalist, modern vibe, with some nature-inspired elements thrown in.
Placing the Order
Once the designs were finalized, it was time to place my order. I uploaded all my designs to the supplier’s website, selected the card stock and finish I wanted, and hit that “order” button. Honestly, I was a little nervous. What if they looked terrible in person? What if the colors were all wrong? But, I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.
The Waiting Game
Then came the waiting. The supplier said it would take a couple of weeks for the cards to be printed and shipped. Those two weeks felt like an eternity! I was constantly checking my email for updates, and refreshing the tracking page like a maniac.
The Big Reveal
Finally, the day arrived! The package was at my doorstep, and I ripped it open like a kid on Christmas morning. And guess what? The cards looked amazing! I was so relieved and excited. The colors were vibrant, the card stock felt nice and sturdy, and the designs looked even better in person than they did on my computer screen.
Sharing My Creation
Of course, I had to show off my new tarot cards to everyone I knew. I posted some pictures online, and people seemed to really like them. I even had a few friends ask if they could buy a deck from me. That’s when it hit me – I could actually turn this into a little business!
What’s Next?
So, that’s where I’m at now. I’ve created a small online store to sell my tarot cards, and I’m working on some new designs. It’s been a lot of work, but it’s also been incredibly rewarding. I love the feeling of creating something from scratch and sharing it with the world. Who knows where this print-on-demand journey will take me, but I’m excited to find out!
I hope my little adventure into the world of print-on-demand tarot cards has been interesting. It’s definitely been a learning experience, but it’s also been a lot of fun. If you’re thinking about trying something similar, I say go for it! You might just surprise yourself with what you can create.
