Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this thing called “blue skies psychological” and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I heard about it from somewhere, maybe it was in an article, and it just sounded like something I needed to try. It’s all about dealing with, you know, those annoying thoughts and feelings that just won’t quit.
So, I started digging into it. I read that this is super useful for when you’re freaking out and your anxiety is through the roof. I thought, “Hey, that’s me sometimes!” I’m not always a mess, but when I am, it’s bad.
I learned there’s this “blue sky mind” idea from, like, the Buddhists or something. It’s about this chill, clear part of your brain that’s always there, but it’s buried under all the junk and noise in your head. It’s like flying in a plane. You take off from some gross, cold place, but once you get above the clouds, it’s all blue skies and sunshine. That’s the vibe we’re going for.
First thing I tried was this “come to your senses” thing. Basically, when I felt myself starting to spiral, I tried to focus on what I could see, hear, smell, touch – you get the idea. It’s not easy, but it helps to ground you a bit, you know? It gets you out of your head for a second. I have to say, it has worked for me. It was not that easy at first but I kept doing it, and I can do it better and better, I felt really different after I was able to focus on my senses instead of those annoying thoughts.
I also started looking into this place, Blue Skies Psychological Services. I found out they do, like, counseling and meds and stuff. I’m not sure if I’m there yet, but it’s good to know it’s an option. Maybe I will try them out if things get worse.
Then there’s this whole thing about nature. Turns out, just being outside can seriously chill you out. It reduces stress, anger, even your blood pressure and stuff. Who knew? I started taking walks in the park near my place, and honestly, it does make a difference. I always thought this kind of thing was not going to be helpful at all, but it did make me feel better.
- So, yeah, I’ve been experimenting with these “blue skies” techniques.
- I’m trying to be more mindful, to pay attention to the present moment.
- I’m trying to spend more time in nature.
- I’m trying to keep those anxious thoughts at bay.
It’s not like I’m suddenly all zen and never get stressed, but I’m learning to deal with it better. It’s a work in progress, you know? But it’s kind of cool to see that there are actual ways to manage this stuff, that you don’t just have to be a victim of your own brain.
If you’re dealing with anxiety or just feeling overwhelmed a lot, maybe give some of this stuff a try. It’s been helping me, and who knows, it might help you too. It is always a good idea to take actions.
