Today I gonna talk about something that’s been on my mind a lot lately, it’s about feeling good inside, you know, the psychological well-being stuff. I’ve been doing a bunch of things to try and get this right, and I figured I’d share what’s been going on.
So, first off, I realized I gotta start with the basics. Eating right, moving my body, and getting enough sleep. Sounds simple, but man, it makes a difference. I started planning my meals a bit better, nothing fancy, just making sure I get some greens and not too much junk. And sleep, I used to be all over the place with my sleep, but now, I try to hit the sack at the same time every night.
Take Time and Enjoy
- Take time for yourself each day.
- Notice the good moments.
- Do something you enjoy.
Then there’s the whole “me time” thing. I started taking a few minutes every day just for myself. Sometimes I just sit there and do nothing, other times I read a book or listen to some music. It’s like a little break from all the craziness. And I started doing things I actually enjoy. For me, it’s playing the guitar. I’m not very good, but it just makes me happy.
I also tried to change how I look at problems. Instead of freaking out, I try to see them from different angles. It’s not always easy, but it helps. And those really tough situations? I try to think of them as a chance to grow, to learn something new. It’s like, “Okay, this sucks, but what can I take from it?”
Then there’s the whole deal with self-acceptance. I started being a bit nicer to myself, you know? Recognizing that I’m not perfect and that’s okay. I also tried to figure out what I really want in life, what my goals are. It’s not about having everything figured out, but just having some direction.
Try to be Positive
I even started paying attention to my mental health. Just being aware of how I’m feeling and not ignoring it. I saw that there is a doctor (GP) is a good starting point to care about mental health, so I started to talk with my family doctor for a while, and it really works!
It’s all a work in progress, you know? Some days are better than others. But I feel like I’m on the right track. It’s about taking care of myself, inside and out. And honestly, it feels pretty good.
