Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole astrology thing for a while now, specifically for Israel. It’s kinda my new pet project. Started a few weeks back when I stumbled upon some old article about Israel’s 60th birthday horoscope. Sounded kinda cool, so I decided to dig deeper.
First thing I did was to try and find Israel’s birth date and time. Turns out, it’s May 14, 1948. But the time? That’s where it gets tricky. Some folks say there are like two different times floating around for when Israel officially became a state. Not sure which one’s accurate, but I guess it doesn’t matter for now.
Then, I tried to figure out how to do a Hebrew horoscope. Found this guide by some rabbi, which said I needed to figure out the Hebrew date of birth. Honestly, that part was way over my head. Too much for my brain to handle right now. Maybe I’ll come back to that later.
Next, I spent hours, maybe even days, just reading a bunch of stuff about Israel and astrology. I mean, I was all over the place. Read some stuff about how some people think the stars and planets affect things here on earth. And then I read some other stuff saying that’s all a bunch of baloney. Scientists, apparently, aren’t too big on astrology. They say there’s no proof and that the predictions are no better than random guesses. That was not what I expected but I think I can work with it.
But here’s the thing: I found a bunch of people who actually dig horoscopes, not just for people, but for countries too. They find it fun, or like, a way to think about themselves and the world. I guess I’m one of those people now. I was going down a rabbit hole, let me tell you.
Then I tried to put together a basic natal chart for Israel. Just used one of those free online calculators. It spit out a bunch of symbols and lines that, honestly, I didn’t really get at first. But I kept at it, you know? Kept trying to learn what it all means.
I even found this one interesting bit about the “whole-sign houses” thing and how it relates to Israel’s identity and foundation. No clue what that means yet, but I wrote it down. Gotta keep learning, right?
I also looked into what 2025 might look like for Aries, since that’s my sign. It said that Aries will have “significant growth.” I have no idea whether it is right or wrong, maybe I should learn more about this. Then I read about Saturn and Rahu, I guess they are planets or something? It said their “transits” mean it’s time to think about yourself and change. Okay then, noted.
Where do I go from here?
So, yeah, that’s where I’m at now. Still a total newbie, but I’m getting there. Slowly but surely, I’m putting the pieces together.
- First, I need to figure out this whole Hebrew horoscope thing.
- Second, maybe I should actually learn how to read those natal charts properly.
- Third, I need to find out what happened on October 7th.
- Last but not least, I need to learn more about astrology in Judaism.
It’s a lot, I know. But I’m kinda hooked. It’s like a puzzle, and I’m determined to solve it. Wish me luck, folks! I’ll keep you updated.
