Alright, alright, let’s talk about this here… what’d you call it? “Ask Tarot Questions”? Yeah, that thing. Sounds fancy, but it ain’t nothin’ but askin’ questions and lookin’ at some pretty pictures, you know? Like them picture books my grandbaby likes, only these pictures got more…meanin’, or so they say.
So, you wanna know what to ask these cards, huh? Well, it ain’t rocket science, I tell ya. You got stuff on your mind, stuff that keeps you up at night, like… will that no-good neighbor of mine finally fix his fence? Or, will my chickens lay more eggs this month? See? Simple stuff, real-life stuff.
But folks say you can ask about bigger things too. Like, love. You know, “Will I ever find a good man?” or “Is this fella the right one for me?”. Stuff like that. I always say, if he ain’t treatin’ you right, dump him like yesterday’s garbage, cards or no cards. But hey, sometimes a little…guidance, they call it, ain’t a bad thing.
- Relationships: “Is this relationship good for me?” “How can I make things better with my husband?” “Will my kids ever listen to me?”
- Work and Money: “Will I get that job I applied for?” “Should I start my own business selling them jams I make?” “Will I ever have enough money to fix that leaky roof?” Money’s always a worry, ain’t it?
- Yourself: “What do I need to do to be happier?” “How can I be a better person?” “Why do I always eat too much pie?” Okay, maybe not that last one, but you get the idea. Gotta look after yourself, you know?
Now, some folks get all fancy about it. They talk about “clarity” and “insights.” Sounds like somethin’ them city folks say. To me, it’s just about gettin’ a different way of lookin’ at things. Like, if you ask, “How can I bring more love into my life?” the cards might not tell you to go join some dating app. Maybe they’ll show you that you gotta love yourself first, or that you gotta be kinder to your family. See? It ain’t magic, it’s just…common sense, sometimes.
And listen here, don’t go askin’ the cards things you can’t control. Like, “Will it rain tomorrow?” Go look at the sky, for crying out loud! Or, “Will my neighbor’s dog stop barkin’?” Go talk to your neighbor! The cards, they ain’t gonna fix your problems for ya. You gotta do that yourself. They just might give you a little nudge in the right direction, you know?
Some folks say you gotta ask the right questions, the right way. I say, just speak your mind. Don’t try to be all fancy. If you’re worried about your kids, ask about your kids. If you’re worried about money, ask about money. It ain’t complicated. And don’t expect the cards to tell you exactly what’s gonna happen. They ain’t got a crystal ball, you know? They just give you…ideas. Like little whispers in your ear.
And another thing, don’t go bettin’ your farm on what the cards say. They ain’t always right, you know? Just like them weather folks on TV, sometimes they’re right, sometimes they’re wrong. It’s just…a way to think about things differently. A way to maybe get a little peace of mind. Or maybe just a good excuse to sit down and have a cup of tea and think about your life for a bit.
So, go ahead, ask your questions. Big ones, small ones, silly ones. Just remember, at the end of the day, you’re the one in charge of your own life. The cards can’t tell you what to do, they just…give you somethin’ to chew on. And that, sometimes, is all you need.
And don’t go spendin’ all your hard-earned money on fancy card readings. There’s plenty of free information out there. Just use your common sense, and don’t believe everything you hear. And for goodness sake, don’t let nobody tell you what you *have* to do. Your life, your choices, your questions.
