Alright, let’s talk about this Dali Tarot Johannes Fiebig thing. I ain’t no fancy scholar or nothin’, but I’ll tell ya what I see, ya know? It’s like this fella, Dali, he made some kinda cards, like them playin’ cards but different, more…pictures and stuff.
What’s this Dali Tarot all about then?
So, from what I gather, this Dali, he was a painter, a real artist, they say. And he went and made himself a whole deck of these tarot cards. Not your regular cards, mind you. These got all sorts of fancy pictures on ’em. Seventy-eight of ’em, they say! That’s a whole heap of cards, ain’t it?
I heard tell this Fiebig fella, Johannes Fiebig, he wrote a book about it. Explaining what all them pictures mean and how you can use ’em. Now, I ain’t never read that book, but I reckon it tells you how to, ya know, figure things out with these cards. Like, what’s gonna happen, or what you should do. Sounds kinda like fortune tellin’ to me, but maybe it’s more than that.
- They say Dali’s wife, Gala, she’s in the cards too. Made her into some kinda queen, the Empress they call her.
- And Dali himself, he’s in there too, dressed up like a magician. Guess he thought he was pretty special, huh?
What are these cards even used for?
Now, I ain’t no expert, but I hear tell these cards, they ain’t just for playin’ games. People use ’em to, like, understand themselves better, or to get a peek at the future. Some folks say they can help you make decisions, you know, when you’re stuck and don’t know which way to turn. They look at the pictures and the symbols, and somehow, it gives them answers. Sounds kinda spooky to me, but hey, to each their own, I always say.
The Art of it All
From what I seen of these cards, they’re real purdy. Lots of colors and strange things goin’ on in them pictures. This Dali fella, he sure had a wild imagination. I heard some folks don’t even use the cards for tellin’ fortunes, they just like lookin’ at ’em, like they’re pieces of art. And I guess they are, in a way. Someone went and took the time to paint all them little pictures, so they must be worth somethin’, right?
Fiebig’s Book and Understanding the Cards
Now, like I said, this Johannes Fiebig fella, he wrote a book about this Dali Tarot. I reckon he knows a thing or two about it. He probably explains what all them symbols mean, all them weird pictures and stuff. ‘Cause let me tell ya, some of them cards, they don’t make no sense just lookin’ at ’em. You need someone to tell ya what’s what. And I guess that’s what Fiebig’s book does. It’s like a guide, a roadmap to understandin’ this Dali’s crazy deck of cards.
Is it worth all the fuss?
So, is this Dali Tarot somethin’ special? Well, I reckon it depends on who you ask. If you’re into all that fortune tellin’ stuff, or if you like purdy pictures, then yeah, maybe it is. But if you’re just a regular Joe like me, well, it’s still kinda interestin’, ya know? It’s like lookin’ into another world, a world where pictures can tell you secrets and a painter can become a magician. It makes you think, that’s for sure. And who knows, maybe there’s somethin’ to it. Maybe them cards really can tell you somethin’. I ain’t gonna try it myself, but I ain’t gonna knock it neither. Live and let live, I say.
Bringing Back the Cards
I also heard that someone, or some company, maybe, I don’t rightly know, they went and brought back all them cards. Made ‘em new again, so more folks can see ‘em. ‘Cause the originals, I reckon they’re real old by now, and probably hard to come by. So, this way, everyone can get a look at Dali’s work, even if they ain’t got a pile of money to spend on some old, dusty deck of cards. That seems fair to me. Art should be for everyone, not just the rich folks.
So that’s what I make of this Dali Tarot and this Fiebig fella. A bunch of cards with fancy pictures, a book to tell you what they mean, and a whole lot of folks interested in it all. More power to ‘em, I say. Me? I’ll stick to my regular deck of cards, thank ya very much.
