Well, let me tell ya, this here Eugenia Last, she’s somethin’ else with them horoscopes. Every week, she’s got somethin’ to say ’bout the stars and how they mess with our lives. I don’t rightly understand all that fancy talk, but I reckon it’s kinda like the weather – sometimes good, sometimes bad, and you just gotta deal with it.
Now, if you’re one of them Aries folks, born ‘tween March 21st and April 19th, Eugenia’s got a whole heap of things to say to ya. She says somethin’ about research. I guess that means lookin’ into things, ya know? Like, if you’re plannin’ on plantin’ them tomatoes, you gotta figure out when the best time is, right? Can’t just throw ‘em in the ground and hope for the best. Same goes for life, I reckon.

So maybe that’s what Eugenia means – put your back into it, whatever “it” is.
Then she goes on about opportunities, sayin’ they might be in unusual places. Well, ain’t that the truth! I remember findin’ a twenty-dollar bill in the henhouse once. Wasn’t expectin’ that, I tell ya! So, I guess what she’s sayin’ is keep your eyes peeled, ’cause ya never know where somethin’ good might turn up. Could be at the market, could be at the church social, could even be in your own backyard.
And don’t forget them promises, Eugenia says. She’s real big on keepin’ your word. Says you gotta honor your promises ’round the 23rd and 24th. That makes sense to me. A man’s (or a woman’s) word is his bond, that’s what my grandpappy used to say. If you say you’re gonna do somethin’, then you darn well better do it. Otherwise, folks ain’t gonna trust ya, and then where will ya be?
Now, Eugenia, she talks about all the signs, not just Aries. She’s got somethin’ to say to everyone, from Taurus to Gemini to Cancer and all the rest. I can’t keep up with all of ‘em, but I reckon they all get their share of good and bad news. That’s just life, ain’t it? Ups and downs, like a rollercoaster. You just gotta hold on tight and ride it out.
She even talks about celebrities born on certain days. Like this fella Ben Stiller, or that gal Kaley Cuoco. I don’t know them folks from Adam, but I guess their birthdays mean somethin’ in the stars. It’s all a bit beyond me, to be honest. But Eugenia, she seems to know what she’s talkin’ about.
