Okay, so I’ve been getting really into tarot lately. Not just the individual cards, but how they play off each other, you know? Especially when it comes to love readings. It’s like, one card can mean one thing, but put it next to another, and boom – whole new story.
So, I grabbed my trusty deck this morning, shuffled it while thinking about love and relationships in general (not focusing on anyone specific, just the energy of love), and pulled some card combinations. I wanted to see what common pairings kept popping up and what they might mean.
First, I laid out a simple three-card spread – past, present, future. I just do it like this.
- The past influence on love.
- The present situation.
- The potential future outcome.
I did this a few times, just to get a feel for things. And some combinations kept showing up, and those were interesting.
Common Combos
One combo I saw a lot was The Lovers (obviously!) paired with the Two of Cups. To me, this just screams soulmate connection, right? The Lovers is all about choices and major relationship decisions, but with the Two of Cups there, it felt like a very harmonious, balanced partnership. A real “meeting of minds” kind of vibe.I wrote down my feeling and keep going.

I also want to record The Devil and The Tower.I remembered that the first card means Bondage, and addiction, while the next means Sudden change, and release.I think it maybe mean to be careful of toxic relationship,or breaking free from a bad situation.I felt it is not * go next.
After doing several readings, I started to see patterns. Not just in the cards that appeared together, but in the overall feeling of the readings. Some felt hopeful and expansive, others felt… cautionary.I understood, It’s all about reading the energy, not just memorizing the card meanings, you know?
