Okay, so I’ve been trying to get my hands on a decent experimental psychology textbook. It’s been a bit of a journey, let me tell you.

First, I scoured the internet. I mean, I went through pages and pages of online bookstores and library catalogs. I was hoping to find something used, maybe a slightly older edition, to save some cash. No such luck. Everything was either super expensive or just not what I was looking for.
Then, I hit up some local used bookstores. I figured, you know, maybe I’d get lucky and find a hidden gem. I spent a whole afternoon digging through dusty shelves. It was kind of fun, in a way, but still… nothing.
My Search Process
- Started with online searches. So many options, but too pricey or not quite right.
- Checked university library online resources. I thought maybe they’d have a digital copy or something I could borrow, but I couldn’t get the access.
- Tried used bookstores. Lots of browsing, no luck.
After that, I decided to check with the university bookstore. I figured they’d have to have something, right? I went in, talked to a very helpful student worker, and they actually pointed me to a few options.
Finally! Found a few I consider, But They were still pretty pricey, even the used ones. I mean, textbooks are a racket, aren’t they?

Anyway, I ended up biting the bullet and getting a newer edition. It hurt the wallet a bit, but I figured it’s an investment in my studies, right? And hey, at least I have it now! I am reading it, it is pretty awesome, glad to get it finally.
