Okay, so, I was messing around online the other day, just killing time, you know? And I stumbled upon this thing called Llewellyn Free Tarot. I’ve always been a bit curious about tarot cards, but never really took the plunge. But hey, it was free, so I figured, why not?
First, I browsed through the different tarot card decks they had. There were a bunch! It was kinda overwhelming at first, but I just picked one that looked cool. I can’t even remember what it was called, something mystical-sounding, I think.
Then I picked a “spread” – that’s what they call the layout of the cards. I went with a simple three-card spread, figuring it would be easy to understand. Past, present, future, that sort of thing. I focused on a question I had in my mind, just a general “what’s going on with my life” kind of question, nothing too specific.
I clicked the button to “shuffle” the virtual deck, and then I selected three cards, one by one. The site then flipped them over and showed me the interpretation for each one. It was pretty wild.
- The first card, representing the past, talked about some challenges I’d been dealing with. It was surprisingly accurate, it actually made my feel a little bit shocked.
- The second card, the present, highlighted my current focus on personal growth and learning. Again, spot on! I’ve been doing a lot of soul-searching lately, so it made sense.
- The third card, the future, suggested that good things are coming my way if I stay on my current path. It was a positive and hopeful message.
The whole thing was a lot more insightful than I expected. I mean, I’m not saying I’m gonna base all my life decisions on a free online tarot reading, but it was definitely food for thought. It gave me a new perspective on things, and I actually felt a little more optimistic afterward. And I wrote down the meaning of each card in my notebook, just for fun.
I might try it again sometime, maybe with a different deck or a more specific question. It’s a fun little way to explore your thoughts and feelings, even if you don’t take it too seriously. It is like a mirror that reflects your mind.
Have any of you guys tried this kind of thing?
I’d love to hear your experiences.
