Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this astrology thing, trying to figure out what a “final dispositor” is. It sounds complicated, but it’s actually kind of cool once you get the hang of it. I thought I’d share what I did, step-by-step, just in case anyone else is curious about this stuff.
First, I had to look at my own birth chart. You know, the one with all the planets and signs and stuff. I’ve got mine saved as a picture on my computer. I started with the Sun, because, why not? It’s a big deal, right? I saw that my Sun is in Leo. Okay, cool. Leo is ruled by the Sun, so that was easy. The Sun rules itself.
Next, I moved to the Moon. My Moon is in Sagittarius. Then I tried to remember which planet rules Sagittarius… Oh yeah, it’s Jupiter! I then went to find my Jupiter, which is in Taurus. Time to check who rules Taurus. That would be Venus. So, I looked up where my Venus is. Turns out, it’s in Gemini, and Gemini is ruled by Mercury.
I kept doing this, following the chain. I looked at my Mercury, which is in Cancer. Cancer is ruled by the Moon. So, I was basically going back and forth, planet to sign, sign to planet. It felt like I was playing a weird game of astrological tag.
- Sun in Leo -> Ruled by the Sun
- Moon in Sagittarius -> Ruled by Jupiter
- Jupiter in Taurus -> Ruled by Venus
- Venus in Gemini -> Ruled by Mercury
- Mercury in Cancer -> Ruled by the Moon
I continued this with all of my planets, scribbling down notes as I went. It got a little messy, but I was determined to get to the bottom of it. Finally, I noticed something interesting. There’s this one planet that doesn’t lead to any other planet. It’s just chilling there, ruling itself. In my case, it was the Sun because the Sun rules Leo, it’s the final dispositor!
So, I figured out that my final dispositor is the Sun. Which makes sense, I guess. It’s a pretty dominant planet, and maybe that says something about me, I don’t know. I’m still figuring out what it all means. But the process of finding it was actually kind of fun. It was like solving a little puzzle.
