Alright, alright, let’s talk about this… uh… burning questions tarot thing. My granddaughter, she’s always fiddlin’ with them cards. Says they can tell you stuff. Don’t know if I believe it, but folks are always askin’ about it, so here we go.
So, you wanna know about this tarot stuff, huh? Well, first thing is, you gotta ask the right questions. Can’t just go in there like a bull in a china shop. You gotta be… what’s the word… specific, yeah, that’s it. Gotta be specific.
Don’t be askin’ no dumb yes or no questions. Like, “Am I gonna win the lottery?” Cards ain’t gonna tell you that. Well, maybe they will, but it ain’t that simple. You gotta ask somethin’ like, “Why am I feelin’ stuck?” or “How can I make things better in my life?” See? Open-ended, they call it. Makes the cards talk more, I guess.
- Ask “Why” questions. Like, why is my cow not givin’ milk? Just kiddin’! But seriously, ask why somethin’ is happenin’.
- Ask “How” questions. Like, how can I get that darn rooster to stop crowin’ so early? Again, just teasin’! But you get the idea. How can I fix somethin’, or how can I achieve somethin’.
Now, there’s all sorts of ways to lay them cards out. My granddaughter, she does that future relationship spread thing. Says it tells you what’s gonna happen with your love life. Puts down a bunch of cards, and the last one, that’s the big one. Tells you how it’s all gonna end up. Then there’s that five-card thingy, the third card tells you what’s going on right now. Kinda like lookin’ at your feet to see where you’re standin’.
And then there’s this… Akashic Record spread, sounds fancy, right? Six cards, this one. They say it tells you about your past lives. Now, I don’t know about you, but I can barely remember what I had for breakfast, let alone what I did in another life. But folks swear by it.
Now, about how accurate this tarot stuff is… Well, that’s a whole other kettle of fish. Some folks say it’s spot on, others say it’s just a bunch of hooey. My granddaughter, she says it’s somethin’ like 60 to 80 percent right. But it depends on who’s readin’ the cards, ya know? If they know what they’re doin’, and if they’re in the right mood, then maybe it’ll work. Gotta be neutral, she says. Can’t be all worked up or the cards get confused, or somethin’ like that.
So, if you’re gonna try this tarot thing, remember what I told ya. Ask good questions, be open to what the cards say, and don’t take it all too seriously. It’s just cards, after all. But hey, sometimes a little somethin’ to think about ain’t a bad thing. Might help you figure out what to do next, or it might just give you a good laugh. Either way, ain’t no harm in tryin’, I reckon.
And another thing, don’t go spendin’ all your hard-earned money on fancy decks and readings. A regular old deck will do just fine. And if you got a good friend who knows how to read ‘em, even better. Just sit down, have a cup of coffee, and see what the cards have to say.
But remember, at the end of the day, you’re the one makin’ the decisions. The cards can give you some ideas, some guidance, but they ain’t gonna tell you exactly what to do. That’s up to you. So, use your common sense, listen to your gut, and maybe, just maybe, the cards will help you along the way.
Tarot reading, ain’t nothin’ to be scared of. Just another way of lookin’ at things, seein’ things from a different angle. And sometimes, that’s all you need to get unstuck and move forward. So, go on, give it a try. Who knows, you might just surprise yourself.
