Today, I want to share something a little different, something that really got me thinking. It’s about Freemason astrology. Now, I’m no expert, but I’ve always been interested in how the stars and planets might influence us, so I started looking into it.
First, I did a search online. It seems that although Freemasonry does not directly endorse astrology, some of its rituals and symbols are connected with celestial themes and astrological concepts. For example, various Masonic symbols often include the sun, moon, and stars. This really caught my attention.
Then, I started digging into what a birth chart actually is. Apparently, it’s like a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment you were born. It shows where all the planets were, in which zodiac signs, and how they were interacting. I found out that there are different types of birth charts, like the Vedic chart and the Western chart. They say the Vedic one is more accurate, but honestly, it all seemed a bit complicated.
So, I decided to get my own birth chart done. I entered my birth date, time, and place into one of those online calculators. It was wild seeing all those symbols and lines. They said my sun sign, moon sign, and rising sign are all important. But it also has the other planets in the chart.
- I learned that the chart is divided into 12 sections, called houses, and each one represents a different area of life, like career, relationships, and so on.
- The planets in those houses show how you express yourself in those areas.
- Also, I read somewhere that the angles between the planets, called aspects, show how they influence each other.
Honestly, it was a bit overwhelming at first. But I started reading more about each element. I found tons of articles and videos explaining what each planet, sign, and house means.
I spent a few days just absorbing all this information. Slowly, it started to make more sense. I could see how some of the descriptions of my sun sign seemed to fit my personality. And the placements of other planets in my chart also seemed to resonate with some of my experiences.
Now, I’m not saying I’m suddenly an astrology expert. But this whole process has been really fascinating. It’s like looking at a different kind of map, one that’s based on the stars instead of the roads.
I’m still figuring out what it all means, but I think it’s a cool way to reflect on myself and maybe understand some of my tendencies a bit better. And there seems to be a connection between these astrological concepts and the symbols used in Freemasonry, which is really interesting. If you’re curious, I encourage you to check out your own birth chart. It might surprise you!
I’ll keep exploring this and see where it takes me. Who knows, maybe I’ll even start looking into how these astrological ideas connect with Freemasonry. It’s all about learning and expanding our perspectives, right?
