Okay, so the other day, I got it into my head to mess around with this whole “primal astrology” thing. Sounds kinda new age-y, right? But it’s basically just a mashup of the Western zodiac stuff we all know – you know, like Gemini, Leo, all that – and the Chinese zodiac signs, like the Rat, the Dragon, the Rooster.
I’m a Gemini, born in the Year of the Rooster, so I figured, why not see what the stars have to say about this combo? Maybe it’s all bull, but hey, it was a slow Tuesday.
I started with a simple search online. I just typed in “Gemini Rooster primal astrology” and bam! Tons of stuff popped up. Lots of websites and blogs talking about the different combos. Seemed like this whole primal astrology thing is more popular than I thought.
First thing I noticed, they kept harping on about how Geminis are all about communication and being adaptable. Yeah, yeah, I get it. We like to talk, we go with the flow. Then they threw in the Rooster’s traits – confident, maybe a bit bossy, organized. Seemed like a bit of a clash, but okay.
- It’s like, part of me wants to just chill and chat, and the other part wants to take charge and get things done.
I dug a little deeper. Read through a few articles. Some of them were pretty out there, talking about lucky numbers and colors and all that jazz. Apparently, 5 and 8 are my lucky numbers. Guess I should start playing the lottery, haha.
Love Life
Then I stumbled onto the whole relationship aspect. Now, that’s where things got interesting. According to these sites, a Gemini Rooster is a real catch, a hit with the ladies, or the fellas, you know, whatever floats your boat. But, and here’s the kicker, they’re also picky. Like, really picky. They say we’re looking for the “ideal” partner, some kind of dream person. Sounds a bit high maintenance, doesn’t it?
I kept reading, kept comparing the different interpretations. Some focused on the personality traits, others on the love life. It was kind of a mixed bag, to be honest. Some of it resonated, some of it didn’t. I mean, I do like to think I’m a good communicator, and I’m definitely not afraid to speak my mind. But organized? My desk would disagree.
After a few hours of this, I felt like I had a better understanding of the whole Gemini Rooster thing. Or maybe I just had a headache from staring at the screen. Either way, it was an interesting little experiment. Did it change my life? Nah. Did I learn anything new about myself? Maybe a little. It’s always fun to see how these different systems try to categorize us, put us in neat little boxes. We’re all a bit more complex than that, aren’t we?
At the end of the day, it was just a bit of fun. A way to kill some time and maybe learn a thing or two. If you’re into astrology, or just curious about this whole primal astrology thing, give it a go. You might be surprised at what you find. Or you might just end up with a headache, like me.
Anyway I think that’s enough about me and my astrology deep dive. Time to go do something productive, like maybe clean up my desk. Or maybe just watch some cat videos. Yeah, that sounds better.
