Alright, let’s talk about these here astrology tees, you know, the shirts with all them stars and signs on ’em. I seen ’em around, folks wearin’ ’em, and I figured I’d tell ya what I know, or what I think I know anyways.
First off, what in the tarnation is astrology anyways? Well, from what I gather, it’s all about them stars and planets and how they supposedly mess with our lives. Like, if you’re born when the moon’s lookin’ a certain way, you gonna be this way or that way. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but hey, folks seem to like it.
Now, these astrology tees, they got all sorts of pictures and stuff on ’em. You got your zodiac signs, like that there ram thing, Aries I think they call it, or maybe that crab, Cancer, somethin’ like that. Each one’s supposed to mean somethin’ different, you know, like if you’re a Leo you’re supposed to be all loud and proud, or if you’re a Virgo you’re supposed to be neat and tidy, which Lord knows I ain’t never been.
- Zodiac Signs: Lots of shirts just have the sign on ’em, you know, a little picture or symbol. Simple, easy to understand, even for an old gal like me.
- Constellations: Some of them fancy shirts got the whole dang star patterns printed on ’em. Looks pretty, I guess, but I can’t make heads or tails of it. Too many dots and lines for my old eyes.
- Tarot Cards: I seen some with them cards on ’em too, like the Lovers card or somethin’. Spooky stuff, that tarot. Don’t know much about it, and frankly, I don’t want to.
- Funny Sayings: Now these I like! Seen a few that say stuff like “Blame it on my Mercury Retrograde” or “I’m not bossy, I’m just a Capricorn.” Makes me chuckle, even if I don’t get it all.
Where do you get these astrology tees? Well, seems like everywhere these days. You got yer big stores, yer little shops, and even online, on that there inter-web thing my grandkids are always yappin’ about. I heard you can even get ’em custom made, with your own sign or whatever you want on ’em. Fancy that!
Why do folks wear ’em? Well, I reckon it’s for a few reasons. Some folks, they really believe in this astrology stuff, and they want to show off their sign, like it’s some kinda badge of honor. Others, they just think it looks cool, you know, the stars and the pictures and all. And some, well, they just like to follow the trends, whatever’s popular at the moment.
Now, let me tell ya, I ain’t one for followin’ trends. I wear what’s comfortable and what’s clean, and that’s about it. But I gotta say, some of these astrology tees are kinda pretty. I seen one with a cat on it, and you know I love cats. Almost bought it, I did, but then I figured, what would an old lady like me do with a shirt full of stars and cats? Probably just spill gravy on it, knowing my luck.

You don’t want somethin’ that’s gonna shrink up or fall apart after one wash. And make sure it fits ya comfortable, you know? Ain’t nothin’ worse than a shirt that’s too tight or too loose. You want somethin’ you can move around in, somethin’ that feels good on your skin. That’s my advice, anyway. Take it or leave it.
