Okay, so today I wanted to mess around with this “Heart and Hands Tarot” thing. I’ve seen it around, and it sounded kinda interesting, you know, getting a glimpse into the future and all that.
First, I had to get my hands on a deck. I didn’t have one, so I just used a regular deck of cards. I figured, hearts are like cups in Tarot, right? And clubs are like wands, so it should work kinda the same. I mean tarot cards can give you some ideas about what might happen down the road, based on what you’re doing now, so I went with it.
I started by shuffling the cards real good while thinking about my life and what I wanted to know. It felt kinda silly at first, but I got into it. After shuffling, I cut the deck into three piles and then put them back together.
The Layout
I laid out the cards in this Heart and Hands spread I found online. It looked pretty simple. There was a heart shape made of cards, and two “hands” reaching out from the bottom. Each card was supposed to represent something different, like “current situation,” “challenges,” “hopes,” and “outcome.”
- The Heart: This was the main part. It showed my current emotional state, the things I was passionate about, and the relationships that mattered to me. I got a lot of hearts here, which made sense, I guess. I’m a pretty emotional guy.
- The Left Hand: This was supposed to be about the past, things that had influenced me and brought me to where I am now. I saw some clubs here, which I took to mean past actions and changes that have shaped my current situation.
- The Right Hand: This was the future hand. It showed potential paths and outcomes based on my current trajectory. There was a mix of hearts and clubs here, which felt right. It suggested that my future involves both emotional fulfillment and some active changes.
After laying it all out, I spent some time just looking at the cards and thinking about what they might mean. It wasn’t like a clear “this is gonna happen” kind of thing. It was more like, “huh, this is something to think about.”
I jotted down some notes in my journal about each card and what it might symbolize in my life. Some of it was pretty obvious, like, “Yeah, I do care a lot about my family.” But some of it made me think a little deeper, like, “Maybe I should focus more on this aspect of my work.”
Honestly, the whole thing was more about self-reflection than actual fortune-telling. It was a way to slow down and check in with myself, see what’s going on in my head and my heart. I don’t know if the cards really predicted anything, but they definitely gave me some food for thought.
I might try this again sometime, maybe with a real Tarot deck. It was a fun little experiment, and it did help me feel a bit more centered and aware of where I’m at. If you’re looking for a way to do some introspection, this “Heart and Hands” thing could be worth a shot. Just don’t expect any lottery numbers, haha.
