Okay, so, I got really into this whole astrology thing lately, all thanks to Heidi Rose Robbins. Let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride!
It all started when I stumbled upon some podcast or something where she was talking about zodiac signs. I was like, “Meh, whatever,” but then she started breaking it down, and I was hooked. I mean, I’ve always kinda known my sign and read those silly horoscopes in magazines, but this was way deeper.
First off, Heidi really opened my eyes to the fact that there’s way more to astrology than just your sun sign. Like, did you know you have a moon sign, too? And a rising sign? It’s like a whole other layer to this stuff. She made it sound so much more personal and, well, real. I actually went through my entire friend group and asked for their birth time, date, and location.
So, I started digging. I found this website where you can put in your birth info, and it spits out your whole chart. And let me tell you, it’s a lot. There are all these planets and houses, and it’s kinda overwhelming at first, but I did go ahead and print it out. I also got a chart for my family members, and I have to admit I was a bit shocked by what I found.
But then Heidi’s voice popped back into my head. I remembered her saying that astrology is like a tool for understanding yourself better, not some kind of fortune-telling thing. And that’s when it really clicked.
I started reading about my different signs and what they supposedly mean. It wasn’t about predicting the future, but more about understanding my own personality, my strengths, my weaknesses, all that jazz. And honestly, some of it was pretty spot-on. I have to say it was not 100% accurate, but I was still impressed.
Then there’s the whole “Mercury in retrograde” thing, which I always heard people say. It was mostly used as an excuse for everything going wrong. Heidi explained what that actually means – something about communication and technology getting messed up when Mercury appears to be moving backward in the sky. It’s not as scary as it sounds. But I have not had time to really understand this concept, so I will leave it for next time.
My Current Progress
- I learned about the concept of sun, moon, and rising signs.
- I got my birth chart and read a bit about it.
- I understood that astrology is more about self-discovery than predicting the future.
So, yeah, that’s my astrology journey so far, thanks to Heidi Rose Robbins. It’s been eye-opening, to say the least. I’m still a newbie, but I’m excited to learn more. Maybe it’s all nonsense, but hey, it’s been a fun and interesting way to learn a little more about myself, you know?
