Okay, so, let’s talk about something in astrology that’s been bugging me for a while – kite formations. I mean, how rare are these things, really? I’ve been digging into this for weeks now, and I’m finally ready to spill the beans on what I’ve found.
First off, I started by hitting up every astrology book and website I could find. I wanted to get a sense of what the experts had to say about kites. And you know what? Most of them were pretty vague. They’d say stuff like, “Oh, a kite is a grand trine with an extra planet,” but they wouldn’t really get into the nitty-gritty of how often these things actually show up in charts.
So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I grabbed a bunch of birth charts – friends, family, celebrities, you name it – and started looking for kites. I used one of those astrology software programs that draw the chart for you and highlight any special patterns. It was a total pain, let me tell you, but I was determined to get to the bottom of this.
Here’s the deal with kite formations:
- They’re not something you see every day. Out of, like, a hundred charts I looked at, only a handful had a kite.
- They need a grand trine as a base. That’s three planets that are all 120 degrees apart, forming a big triangle. Those are rare on their own, so that’s the first hurdle.
- Then there’s that fourth planet. It has to be in just the right spot – 60 degrees from two of the grand trine planets and 180 degrees from the third. That’s like, super specific.
After all that chart-hunting, I started looking at what a kite might mean. From what I gather, some folks say it brings a mix of good luck and challenges. I have seen someone say it’s like a spiritual message, which sounds pretty wild to me. And then there’s this thing called a “Grand Cross”. It is said that it happens when four planets are 90 degrees apart, making a square in the chart. Now, I didn’t find a single one of these in my little experiment, so they must be really uncommon.
So, yeah, after weeks of staring at charts and driving myself crazy, I can say that kites are definitely not your average, everyday astrological pattern. They’re pretty darn rare.
