Okay, so I wanted to share my little adventure on how I got my hands on the Tower tarot card. It wasn’t some big spiritual quest or anything, just a bit of a journey through a video game, believe it or not.
So, picture this: I’m playing through this game, “Cyberpunk 2077.” Now, I’m not usually one for the mystical stuff, but this game has this cool thing where you can collect tarot cards scattered throughout the city. They’re like these graffiti art pieces, and each one is unique. I got hooked on finding them all, kind of like a scavenger hunt.
The Tower card, it’s number 16 in the tarot set, and it’s supposed to represent some heavy stuff like sudden change and upheaval. I was curious, not gonna lie. So, I started my hunt in the City Center, near the Arasaka Tower. I remembered reading something online about a remembrance area nearby.
I followed the tip, went to the west of the tower, and boom, there it was. This area with a red-lit corridor. I went inside, feeling like I was in some kind of a movie scene. There was graffiti on the wall, behind some glass. I used the in-game scanner, and bam, the card was added to my collection. It felt pretty cool, like I had uncovered a secret.
Another Game Same Goal
But that wasn’t my only encounter with the Tower card. I also play this other game called “The Quarry.” It’s a totally different vibe, more like a horror story. In this game, the tarot cards are also hidden, but it’s way creepier because you’re walking through dark woods and stuff.
I was playing as this character, Abi, and I was supposed to be running through the woods. There were these paths, and I remembered reading online that I should always take the left path. So, I did. Left, left, and left again.
- First left turn.
- Kept going.
- Another left turn.
The camera in the game started doing this weird thing where it would zoom out, showing Abi from far away. It was super eerie. Then, after I took another left, the camera shifted to a tree above, and there it was, the Tower card again, just chilling on the tree like it was no big deal.
I gotta say, finding these cards in both games was a fun little side quest. It made me appreciate the details that game developers put into their work. And hey, maybe there’s something to this whole tarot thing. The Tower card is supposed to signify embracing change, looking for lessons in tough situations, and letting go of what doesn’t serve you anymore.
It’s interesting to think about, even if you’re not into tarot. I mean, who doesn’t go through changes in life, right? Anyway, that’s my story of how I got the Tower tarot card, not once, but twice, in two different virtual worlds. Pretty neat, huh?
