Alright, let’s gab about this… uh… Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot Deck. Yep, that’s a mouthful, ain’t it? Sounds fancy, like somethin’ them city folks would jabber about.
Now, I ain’t no expert on these here cards, mind you. But I’ve seen a thing or two, and I know what I like. This deck, it’s got pictures, lots of ‘em. Pretty pictures, too. Not like them plain old cards my grandma used to have. These ones shine, kinda like them sparkly things the young’uns wear on their clothes these days.
This deck, they say it’s got eighty cards. Eighty! That’s a whole heap more than what I’m used to. Usually, it’s just, you know, the regular ones. But this one, it’s got extra. Two extra, they say. One’s called “The Well,” and the other is “The Artist.” Don’t ask me what they mean, I ain’t got a clue. But they sure look nice.
- Lots of Cards: Like I said, eighty of ‘em. That’s a bunch!
- Shiny Pictures: Real pretty, they are. Makes you wanna just stare at ‘em all day.
- Extra Cards: “The Well” and “The Artist.” Fancy names for fancy cards.
They tell me this deck is all about that… uh… “Art Nouveau” style. Sounds French, don’t it? I reckon it means everything’s all flowy and curvy. Like them flowers that grow in my neighbor’s garden. All twisty and turny. It’s pretty to look at, that’s for sure. They paid real close attention to makin’ these cards, you can tell. Not sloppy like some things you see nowadays.
Now, how you use these cards? Well, that’s the tricky part. I heard tell you can lay ‘em out in different ways. Like, you take one card, put it in the middle. That’s the “now,” they say. Then you put another one to the left, that’s the “past.” And one to the right, that’s the “future.” See? Past, present, future. Just like that. But there’s more ways to do it, I reckon. Lots more. It’s all a bit confusing if you ask me.
I even heard someone talkin’ about a card called the “Five of Cups,” and they were callin’ it the “saddest card in the deck.” Can you believe that? A sad card! I guess these cards can tell you all sorts of things, happy and sad. Makes you wonder, don’t it?
So, what do I think about this Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot Deck? Well, like I said, I ain’t no expert. But I think they’re pretty. Real pretty. And they seem kinda… deep, you know? Like they got secrets to tell. If you’re into that sort of thing, then I reckon you’d like ‘em. But if you’re just lookin’ for somethin’ to play Go Fish with, well, you might wanna stick to a regular deck of cards.
I’ve got this other deck, see? The Golden Art Nouveau Tarot, they call it. It’s my main one, the one I use most of the time. It ain’t got as many cards as this Ethereal Visions one, but it’s good enough for me. Still, this new one, it’s got a somethin’ special about it. Maybe it’s them extra cards, or maybe it’s just them shiny pictures. I dunno. But I’m keepin’ it. Might come in handy someday, you never know.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. If you’re lookin’ for some fancy cards, these might just be the ticket. Just don’t expect me to read your fortune, ‘cause I can barely read the directions on a soup can!
But hey, if you like lookin’ at pretty pictures and ponderin’ about life, then go ahead and get yourself this deck. Just remember, it’s the pictures that caught my eye, not all that fancy talk about “Art Nouveau” and such. I like what I like, and that’s all there is to it.
Anyways, I gotta go now. Got chores to do. But you think on what I said, alright? These cards, they might just be somethin’ special. Or they might just be a bunch of pretty pictures. You decide.
