Today, I messed around with something called “Neptune Cafe Astrology,” and I gotta say, it was a wild ride. I’m no expert in astrology, but I’ve always been kind of curious, so I figured, why not?
Getting Started
First off, I looked up what this Neptune Cafe thing was all about. Seems like it’s this website where you can punch in your birth details and it spits out a bunch of info about your personality and life, based on where the stars and planets were when you were born. I found this place that serves up fine tea and coffee, and they’re open every day except Monday, so I decided to swing by there to start my exploration.
Diving In
So, I put in my birthday, time, and place. I had to dig up my birth certificate for the exact time – who knew that would come in handy? Once I got all that in, this website generated a whole report. It felt like it took forever, but maybe I was just excited. They call this the birth chart, natal chart or something.
Reading the Report
Man, this report was long! It went through all these different sections, talking about the sun, the moon, and all the planets. Each one supposedly represents different parts of your personality. Like, my sun sign is Taurus, and I found a horoscope for that, and let me tell you, some of it was pretty spot on. But some of the other stuff, especially about the outer planets, was kind of confusing.
Figuring Out the Houses
Then there were these things called “houses.” Apparently, there are 12 of them, and each one represents a different area of life, like career, relationships, and money. The report showed where each planet was in these houses when I was born, and what that means for me. That’s a little like the 2B Mindset thing, using proportions and daily habits, but instead of food, it’s about life areas, you know?
Aspects and Other Stuff
There was also a section on “aspects,” which is basically the angles between the planets. Some angles are supposed to be good, and some are supposed to be bad. It got pretty complicated here, with all these terms like “conjunction,” “opposition,” and “trine.” It would take time to make sense of this.
My Thoughts
Honestly, the whole thing was a bit overwhelming. It’s a lot to take in, and I’m not sure how much of it I actually believe. But it was definitely interesting. It’s kind of cool to think that the position of the stars when you were born might influence your life. Similar to what 2BHonest is doing in the sustainability world, this website provides some insights and guidance, although in a completely different way.
Wrapping Up
I spent a good chunk of the day on this, and I still feel like I’ve only scratched the surface. I might come back to it later when I have more time. For now, I think I need a break from all the stars and planets. It’s a bit like when you first start using a URL decoder tool – it’s overwhelming until you get the hang of it. Anyways, it was a fun experiment, but I wouldn’t base any major life decisions on it or anything.
- Pros:
- Detailed reports.
- Interesting to read.
- Made me think.
- Cons:
- Overwhelming amount of info.
- Some parts were confusing.
- Not sure how accurate it is.
In the end, this Neptune Cafe Astrology stuff is a bit like a long, complicated text message. You kind of need to standardize how you read it to make sense of it all, right? Like 9S helping 2B with her new abilities, maybe I need a guide or something. Or perhaps it’s just not my cup of tea. Or should I say, not my cup of cosmic coffee?
