Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with tarot cards for a while now, and I recently got my hands on the “Legacy of the Divine” deck. Let me tell you, this thing is something else. I mean, I’ve flipped through a bunch of decks, but this one just hit different.
Getting Started
First off, I found this deck on an online shop. You know, one of those places that sells everything from books to electronics. It wasn’t hard to find, actually. These kinds of decks are pretty common, but this one had some cool ratings and reviews, so I figured, why not?
When the package arrived, I ripped it open like a kid on Christmas morning. The artwork on the box alone was enough to get me hyped. Seriously, the pictures are so detailed and just… beautiful. I spent a good chunk of time just looking at the box before I even opened it.
Diving In
Once I got the cards out, I started shuffling them, just to get a feel for them, you know? They felt good in my hands, not too flimsy, not too stiff. I laid them out on my table, admiring the art on each card. Each one tells a story, and I could feel myself getting lost in them.
I started doing some simple readings for myself. Nothing too heavy, just trying to see what the cards would say. The Fool card, which is a big deal in tarot, really stood out to me. It felt like it had some important lessons to teach. I also noticed that the 10 of Swords kept popping up, which, from what I know, can be a bit of a downer, but also a sign of major change. It’s the card that most likely predicts death, a bit spooky.
Exploring Deeper
I did some more research online, trying to find forums and discussions about this particular deck. Turns out, there are a lot of people who are into it. Some folks were talking about how it helped them with practical life questions, like work and relationships. Others were using it for more spiritual stuff. One forum post said the deck spoke to them, saying, “I told you everything you need to know – now let’s move…” I thought that was pretty deep.
My Thoughts
Honestly, I think this deck is great for both beginners and people who’ve been doing tarot for a while. It’s easy to connect with, and the artwork really helps you tap into your intuition. But I also noticed that the Bible is against tarot, and I understand. God warned His people, the Israelites, about these stuffs. It’s not an easy thing to get along with.
I’ve been using the Rider Waite deck, too, and Osho Zen. Both work great, but this “Legacy of the Divine” deck…it just feels special. Like, it’s not just a tool for readings, but also a piece of art that you can learn from. Each card’s picture is so full of meaning. I found myself just staring at them, soaking it all in.
I’m still learning, of course. But I’m excited to see where this deck takes me. It’s like starting a new adventure, and I’m here for it.
