Okay, so, I wanted to know about this “horoscopes” thing, and I was like, “Let’s give this Jacqueline Bigar lady a try.” Her name kept popping up, so I dove in.
First, I read up a bit. They say you should take time to renew your spiritual or religious beliefs, you know? Look into new ideas and stuff, makes your life richer, apparently. That sounded kinda nice, so I thought about my own beliefs a little. Nothing crazy, just reflected a bit while having my morning coffee. Jacqueline Bigar also gives these star ratings for each day. 5 stars are dynamic, 4 are positive, and so on down to 2 being just “so-so”. I decided to track these for a week, just for fun, to see if they matched up with how my days were going.
Then, I went to see what she had to say about my sign. I’m an Aquarius, so I looked up the one for January 20-February 18. It said, “★★★ You will impress bosses and parents in discussions today because they will see you as reliable.” Well, I didn’t really have any big meetings with my boss or anything, but I did have to explain something a bit tricky to a coworker, and it went really smoothly. Maybe there’s something to this? I’m gonna try and keep track of how well my horoscopes are matching up with my actual experiences.
Of course, she’s apparently got the scoop on the whole of 2023. That’s a lot to predict! She’s got stuff for every sign: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, all the way to Pisces. Each one supposedly helps you organize your year better, with stuff about love and career. I looked at some of them. Aries, for example, is supposed to have a year of optimism, and they’re entering some kind of 12-year cycle, whatever that means. I skimmed through the others too. I marked down the key things for my sign in my planner, just to see if they’d come true.
My Experiment Log
- Day 1: Rating: ★★★. My horoscope said I’d be reliable, and yeah, I guess I was. Helped my coworker, did my chores, nothing too exciting, but solid.
- Day 2: Rating: ★★★★. Had a really good brainstorming session at work. Felt productive, so yeah, a positive day for sure.
- Day 3: Rating: ★★. Just an average day. Nothing bad, but nothing special either. The horoscope was pretty spot on with this one.
- Day 4: Rating: ★★★★★. Got a small, unexpected bonus at work! Definitely a dynamic day. This was a pleasant surprise, I’ll take it!
- Day 5: Rating: ★★. Spilled coffee on my shirt this morning. Then my internet went out for a while. Definitely a “so-so” day.
- Day 6: Rating: ★★★★. Had a nice dinner with my family. Good food, good company. Positive vibes all around.
- Day 7: Rating: ★★★. Relaxing Sunday. Read a book, went for a walk. Pretty average, but in a good way.
So yeah, that’s my little experiment with Jacqueline Bigar’s horoscopes. It’s kinda interesting to see how it all lines up, or doesn’t. I’m not sure I’m a total believer yet, but it’s a fun little thing to track. I’m gonna keep at it for a while longer, see if the predictions for 2023 end up making any sense. It’s like a little game, and who knows, maybe there’s something to this whole stars and planets thing after all.
