Okay, so the other day I was feeling a bit lost, you know? Like I needed some guidance. A friend of mine suggested I try this thing called the “Herbal Astrology Oracle.” I’d heard of astrology, sure, but herbal astrology? That was new to me. Apparently, it’s like, combining plants and stars to get some insight into your life. Sounded pretty wild, but I was curious, so I decided to give it a shot.
First, I ordered this deck of cards online. They arrived a few days later, and honestly, they were beautiful. Each card had a different plant on it, all illustrated with these vibrant colors. I remember one was chamomile, another was lavender. And the box said something about them corresponding to planets, which I thought was really cool.
Next, I had to learn how to actually use these things. I found some basic instructions online – nothing too complicated, thank goodness. Basically, you shuffle the cards while thinking about a question or situation you want clarity on. I was thinking about my career path, so I focused on that. Then, you pick a card, and that’s supposed to give you some kind of message or guidance. This part took a while because I didn’t really know what I was doing, but eventually, I got into it.
- I shuffled the cards, really trying to concentrate.
- I fanned them out face down, just like the instructions said.
- Then, I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and picked a card.
The card I drew had this gorgeous illustration of a dandelion on it, and it said it was connected to Jupiter. I flipped to the guidebook that came with the deck. Apparently, dandelion is all about growth, expansion, and taking chances. Jupiter, the guidebook said, is the planet of luck and abundance. I read through the whole entry on dandelion, and it talked about how this little weed is super resilient and can grow anywhere, even in tough conditions.
My Interpretation
Now, I’m not sure if I believe in all this stuff, but I have to admit, it was pretty spot on. I had been feeling stuck in my job, and this dandelion card was like a little nudge to break out of my comfort zone and explore new opportunities. It felt like the message was to embrace change and trust that things will work out. I spent a good hour just thinking about what that card meant for me and my situation.
Since then, I’ve pulled a card a few more times, and it’s been a surprisingly insightful experience. I wouldn’t say it’s like, predicting the future or anything, but it does help me reflect on things in a new way. Maybe it’s just the act of focusing my intention and paying attention to the messages that come up, but it feels like more than that. It feels like I’m tapping into something deeper, some kind of inner wisdom. Overall, it was a pretty cool and unexpected way to get some perspective. Might not be for everyone, but I enjoyed it.
